![]() Emerald Eyes came on my MAC mix this morning on bike ride this morning(love the song) and I was wondering why Bob Welch called it Emerald Eyes and not Mystery to Me? Does anybody know?

Because 'Emerald Eyes' is repeated numerous times throughout the song and Mystery to Me isn't??? Because 'Emerald Eyes' is the entire focus of the song whom he's singing to/about???

![]() There was already a song called Mystery to Me but it didn't make the album. This often happens, but I think personally that the "mystery to me" part is slight compared to the big first line of the chorus "Find Emerald Eyes in the night" part.

![]() Are you sure about that? You may be thinking of the fact that Welch's solo album His Fleetwood Mac Years & Beyond Vol 2 (which I recommend) featured a song called Mystery to Me. Bob's sleeve notes said there hadn't previously been a song by that title then added "There is now".
