Arrow DISCUSSION: Other Christine songs not already considered

Well Ledgies we're getting towards the end of the first part of the Battle of the Songs. Make sure you check the sticky thread here on the Rumours forum for the latest info because things will be moving quickly. It has been interesting and sometimes frustrating, but I have enjoyed it and hope everyone else has.

The first week of December, all the winners of the battles, start battling it out to determine the favorite song for each vocalist and the Favorite Fleetwood Mac Song of All Time.

Now there are several songs that don't fall on a studio album. In this thread, Ledgies may nominate up to 10 Christine McVie songs from the non-studio albums. B-sides, songs from greatest hits are eligible, basically any song by Christine McVie recorded w/Fleetwood Mac can be nominated regardless of what era. NO DEMO RECORDINGS. Once we get at most 10 songs, those songs will battle for Favorite "Extra" Christine song and the winner will be eligible for Favorite Christine Song.

If you have any question or concerns, you can post a reply here, on the sticky thread, or send me a PM.

I think that technically does not fall within the scope of Rumours lineup Christine songs since it features Billy Burnette (and Rick too?) but not Lindsey.

Here are a couple more...

-One More Lonely Night

-The Farmer's Daughter (yes, it has 3-part harmonies throughout, but Christine is singing the main melody line).

-Get Like You Used to Be (it hasn't been released officially to the best of my knowledge, but the Rumours-era live versions seem to be definitive to me)

-Can't Help Falling in Love (there's no Stevie on this one, but then again there are also no non-Rumours members on this one either, so it's arguably the same lineup as half of Tango in the Night)

Heart of Stone counts. This battle represents all 3 eras, so yes Heart of Stone counts. I just put this thread in this forum, since this is the "main" FM forum. Pre-Rumours, Rumours, and Post-Rumours era songs can count.

Here's the list so far...
1. Ricky
2. Temporary One
3. Heart of Stone
4. Love Shines - my fav!
5. One More Lonely Night
6. Farmers Daughter - needs to count somewhere, can be changed if objected to
7. Get Like You Used to Be - never heard of this one
8. Can't Help Falling in Love - is this an Elvis cover?

The top 4 I can confirm, we'll wait for others to reply about the last 4. Remember no demo recordings.

Can't Help Falling In Love is an Elvis cover, yeah. It's beautiful.

What a lovely song. How exactly did the FM recording come about?

It's not an FM recording as such, it's off the soundtrack for the film A Fine Mess and Lindsey and Richard produced it.

I'm sorry, but that song won't be eligible for this poll.

I forgot about "As Long As You Follow" Thanks, holidayroad.
