But, favorites of those listed:

The more I think about it, there's really not ANY Bob Welch song during his time with Fleetwood Mac that I DON'T like...he was pretty consistently good (although even better on some).

Kind of like Pizza..."there no such thing as BAD pizza, just some are better than others".

Hypnotized but A very close second is the unlisted revelation. Bob mick and John all shine.

I love Angel. Love the sound of Christine and John on this one.

In every song from MTM I listed, Chris and John sounded really good! Obviously Micks has his part too. Agree with jbrownsjr!

Unfortunately, John didn't play on "Revelation". That was Bob Welch who played bass on that. (Apparently, John was with Dave Walker down the block knocking a few back when the rest of the band recorded "Revelation")

That doesn't make sense. A song that Bob played multiple instruments on, you DON'T include? I mean I could see it if your poll was "John McVie's best bass lines". {scratches head}

I would have voted for Hypnotised. Honourable mention for Coming Home which has grown on me lately for some reason.

Going a bit off-topic, but there may well have been other songs that Bob played bass on- this from a Q & A of his:

"I played bass on quite a few Mac songs ;"Revalation", and "Keep On Going" come to mind."

http://www.fleetwoodmac.net/penguin/qa/bobwelch_qa2.htm.

I wonder what the other ones were? Can anyone tell? It's a little chink in the Fleetwood-McVie legend when you think about it...

Love this thread!!!

All the above choices are great songs, I also really dig "She's Changing Me" .

Regarding the bass thing - I would not be surprised to hear that Bob played on Silver Heels and Coming Home, very compositional type bass parts -

No disrespect intended to John who is BRILLIANT and capable of anything, those 2 just seem to have a little different feel

This is a tough one I like so many of Bob's songs. If I had to rank the top 3 from the list it would be.
Hypnotized
Emerald Eyes
Future Games
