Honestly, I wouldn't doubt it. Not so sure about this video but it seems like if anyone was to fake his or her own death, it would be MJ.

Same. I mean, he's not dumb, he was going broke and prob realized that 'oh hey, you sell more music if you're a dead icon' (a la Elvis, Hendrix, and Lennon). It really is horrible that this may be true, but you never know- besides the swarm of media there isn't really any sound proof...

that's not a proof at all. but anyway, I think there are more important things that thinking in MJ or Elvis being alive. I mean, if they were alive, they won't be on tour, record a new album, etc,

I wouldn't put it passed several celebrities to want to fake their own death at some point, but I can't imagine how MJ would have gotten the cooperation of the hospital, and coroner, his private Doctor who will most likely be brought up on charges for administering the drugs that lead to an overdose. Would he really wan't to disappear with the whole would knowing he had serious addictions? If he was going to fake it, I think they would have just said he had an unknown heart condition, or something like that, and died in his sleep.

I thought he was 'found' a few weeks ago, he took himself out of self imposed exile. Honestly, the MJ thing wouldn't completely shock me if it weren't for the coroners office ruling it a homicide. To do so would mean they would have had to cut open the body of Jackson (or somebody...)
