Default Favorite album cover art

Jillian suggested someone create a poll for favorite FM cover art on a similar thread at the Stevie board and. me being a pushover, I listened to her.

Now, please realize that I am limiting this to the Rumours lineup due to the number of answers you can put in a poll on here, so please, no hissy fits. In addition, I decided to include Live, the Dance, and Live in Boston cause they were albums, even though the Dance and Boston did have a vid that went with it.

And please, no butt pain over the choices. Do I need to contact Annie to get the butt pain form?

EDIT: BTW, if you have a problem with me forgetting albums, make your own poll. I might eventually make a pre-Rumours poll, but I might need to clear up with someone as to what I should and shouldn't use.

I like how I always suggest these threads, but then I don't even know what I'd vote for myself. Thanks Cassie, I'm interested to see what people choose. For me it's a toss up between Say You Will & The Dance

I've always adored the artistry on Tango In The Night album. It's one of my all time favourite album covers, nevermind just Fleetwood Mac

Rumours, Mirage and Say You Will are my favourites.

I have to go for Rumours though, such an iconic and powerful image.

Mirage is very dramatic, but, Stevie's neck totally freaks me out - and that hand thing!

Say You Will is just very arty, very classy - they both look about 20 years younger on it.

I had to go with Tango in the Night too. I knew and loved that cover long before I even knew who the Mac was. Looking at it now, I think it's nice to look at, but since I'm the kinda dork that tends to like it when themusic inside matches the album art (I'm at my absolute worst at that with Metallica), I like how the music and the cover art both have a slick feel that is best listened to around dusk.

Bare Trees!

I was tempted to pick Rumours because it's so iconic, but I could really do without Mick's fake wooden balls. It kind of ruins it for me.

Ultimately, I went with Tango in the Night. Say You Will is brilliant as well. I love the double suicide theme.

I always loved Mick's balls (XD XD). They're a reminder of where he came from.

From the choices above, the '75 album. Why? Because John McVie actually made it onto the cover!

All-time, though, my Top 5 faves are (in order):

Kiln House
Time
Bare Trees
Then Play On
Mystery To Me

I love that White Album cover. It's weird and fun and foreshadows the Rumours cover without even knowing it. But then I'm also nuts about the Tusk album cover which tries to obliterate the memory of that Rumours cover.

A toss up between Mirage and Tango. Love that painting on the Tango cover, but I think that band members should be on the cover of albums/CD's

Don't ask me about that Behind the Mask cover!

I think it was just a group of actors possing for a picture. Mick didn't want the band on the cover and asked a photographer for a picture that "represents" the band" What the hell that means don't ask me!

Also, according to Rick Vitos Q&A, Rick didn't agree with the choice of the cover, but was outvoted I suppose.

Stevie was there, but she really looked like she wanted out, kinda like Chris on the back of Rumours.

EDIT: Looking at the cover now, it does look like the band is in the back, but I'm having trouble now. Can someone please help me?
