I'm a bit upset about cutting off the ending as well. The first song was Great. I loved how Lindsey started it off. Pretty impressive to say the least.

Yeah, I loved "Copy of A" and Lindsey was prominent. He was terrific. I guess I should focus on that instead of how mad I am that they gave the finale the shaft in order to show their ads.

That was awful... But Linds looked good and rocked. I liked how he started off the song.

[Alternative rock all-star team - loving this!]

http://www.billboard.com/articles/ev...rohl-close-out

Alternative rock all-star team ends 56th GRAMMY Awards with a mashup of Nine Inch Nails' "Copy of A" and Queens of the Stone Age's "My God Is the Sun."

Seconds after Daft Punk won Album of the Year for the night's final prize, a tag team of rock veterans closed out CBS' telecast of the 56th GRAMMY Awards.

Nine Inch Nails' Trent Reznor took center stage early, offering "Copy of A" from his 2013 album "Hesitation Marks." Fleetwood Mac singer/guitarist Lindsey Buckingham joined in, along with Dave Grohl, manning the drumkit along with frequent collaborator Josh Homme. Grohl collaborated with Homme's Queens of the Stone Age on their 2013 album "…Like Clockwork," reprising his decade-old role of guest drummer.

Homme grabbed the spotlight next, as the ensemble kicked into the gritty riffage of the "…Like Clockwork" single "My God Is the Sun" to close out the show.

While the night's previous rock offerings leant towards either very new (Imagine Dragons) or very tenured (Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr) the closing performance filled in the gaps of the genre's last two decades.

Queens of the Stone Age's "…Like Clockwork" was nominated for Best Rock Album and Nine Inch Nails' "Hesitation Marks" was nominated for Best Alternative Music Album.

‏@b_knickerbocker
Never thought that w/ Trent Reznor, Dave Grohl, & Josh Homme on stage, I'd be saying, "Whoa! Chill out Lindsey Buckingham!" #GRAMMYs"

Yeah he's pissed. Now I actually kinda feel bad . It seems like he hasn't liked the Grammys for a while now, though.

Such a huge production. And no timing. Unbelievable. Morons.

But Lindsey did great. He really nailed Copy of A.

I want that lineup to do an album so badly right now. That first performance was unreal I loved Copy of A.
Wouldn't miss Homme in the line up, but the others must do an album of that quality.
