Tusk first album in digital

I've heard that Tusk was the first album recorded in digital?

Is this true? If so, why isn't this fact more well known and well publicized?

Someone had asked this to Richard Dashut long ago, he said (I think) that Tusk was the first album to have been recorded on double track?
