Question Hershey show

Tickets for the Hershey show go on sale Sat. at noon. Do I stand a better chance at getting good seats actually going to the stadium to buy the tickets, or are my chances just as good going thru ticketmaster?

Thanks!
Carol

I don't know if you can buy tickets there...I thought I read the box office is only open on day of concert.

I know I will miss this, it's a good 3 or 4 hours away I think and I'm poor. I'm sure I'll regret it...

This is debatable. I prefer ticketmaster.com, but only if you have DSL or other high-speed connection (dial-up takes too long & too much risk of getting frozen out, in my experience.)
Whenever I've called ticketmaster for tix, I've been put on hold for a LONG time & ended up with crap.
Not sure if you can go to the box office the day of sale, but I also think I read that it's not open day of sale.

"Tickets for this show go on sale this Saturday, March 6th at NOON at HERSHEYPARK Stadium. Tickets cost $37.50, $45, $55, and $75 and can be purchased by calling the GIANT Center Box Office at 717-534-3911, all Ticketmaster locations, Charge-By-Phone at 717-260-2000 or on Ticketmaster.com. "

Now that I read this a little better, I guess you can't get them at the stadium. Oh well.....I'm not sure if I could have gotten anyone up there to go get them for me anyway!

Thanks for the advice, though!

I live 10 minutes from Hershey, and the best bet for me has always been Ticketmaster.com. Their box office is slow.

Here is the link to the seating chart for the stadium:

http://www.hersheypa.com/events/hers...oor_plans.html

This is much more detailed than the one on the ticketmaster site.

so how bad are the grand stand seats? I'd love to be on the floor, but only in sections A, B or C. Just wondering how far the grand stand seats are from the stage. And do they still use the big screens for outdoor shows?

Sorry for all the questions! I've never been to a concert there...
Thanks,
Carol

I am still confused. Is this concert going to be at the stadium or the Star Pavilion? Pollstar says the pavilion but TM just says the stadium.

The website for Hershey stadium says it's there.

Maybe Heather can shed some light on this but is this not the stadium where there aren't really seats...it's more like bleechers? I remember a bunch of my friends went to see Dave Matthews there and you actually have to turn your body in order to see the stage. Am I totally wrong?? I'm still surprised they're playing there. I'm unable to access the website so I can't look at the seating chart. Heather, are you going to Camden as well? I'm going by myself and I know Janet is going as well. We'll all have to meet up or something.

The side seats are like in a football stadium. I have sat in sections 8 and 25 and 26 and they offer a decent view of the stage. I would not suggest getting anything on the floor past sections A,B,C.

Looks like there is nothing above row 8 . . .

I was on the instant they released them and that is all that I saw. Not close enough for me!
