I really dislike the studio version. It just leaves me cold. I think it has to do with the fact that I don't think all the emotion of that song can be displayed within the confines of a studio. It needs to be live, IMO. And I am really not a fan of the vocals on the studio version, either.

A lot of people dislike the studio version since The Dance album, but I like it.

I love the vocals on the studio version. Even the screaming. Oh well....everyone knows solidarity between Republicans and Democrats can't last forever.

ell Dissentions post showed up first s technically they're his thoughts you're stealing. And well I'm just the opposite, I Love the studio version the best. especially the vocals. I think the emotion coms across just fine. And I know I'm so in the minority but when It comes to SS live I prefer the current version to The Dance. I know shoot me, bu I think she just screams those Stil I am a fool and Give me just a chance better this tour. I know she doesn't do the Never Get Away Never Get Away Never Get Away but it doesn't bug me.

Again, as with the white album, I'm PAINFULLY burnt out on Rumours, so this is kind tough:

Cream of the Crop: Go Your Own Way, You Make Loving Fun, The Chain, Gold Dust Woman, Songbird (and, Silver Springs)
Floating just under: Second Hand News, Never Going Back Again
So-so: Dreams, Don't Stop, Oh Daddy, I Don't Want To Know

My Rumours breakdown:

"They're So Freakin' Awesome!":
Songbird, The Chain, GYOW, You Make Loving Fun, Second Hand News, Don't Stop

"Ehh, They're Okay":
GDW, Dreams, I Don't Want to Know, Never Going Back Again, Silver Springs

"Hit the Search Button Now!!":
Oh Daddy

I have a bad feeling I'm gonna get hurt for this list...

I like it a lot, too, because at the end the harmonies are awesome - I always like when stevie is singing harmony with herself. And then the harmony at the very end, where she's all "oh oh oh oh ah ah ah ah ahah ha ha ha ha" and "you won't forget me" is under it. But perhaps I shouldn't say that, cause everyone knows Green Partyers can't mix with Repubs at all....

Great: You Make Loving Fun, Dreams, Gold Dust Woman
OK: I Don't Want to Know, Never Going Back Again
Poor: Go Your Own Way, Second Hand News, The Chain

I don't even remember what else is on it ... Oatmeal Cookie or something?

Awesome!
-Never Going Back Again
-Go Your Own Way
-The Chain
-You Make Loving Fun...I got a new appreciation for this song
-I Don't Want To Know...AWESOME harmonies!!!!!

Okay
-Second Hand News...I've heard it too much. If I'm in the right mood it's fun.
-Dreams...It's a nice song, but terribly overplayed. If you sit and listen and appreciate it, forgetting how much you've heard it then it's great.
-Don't Stop...I actually want to do it with my band, but just listening to it can get a little boring.
-Songbird...So much better on the Bonus disc of the reissue with the guitar in there.

Please Kill Me!
-Oh Daddy...So much better on the Bonus disc of the reissue with the guitar and harmony vocal on there.
-Gold Dust Woman...I love the demo with the snippet of "If You Ever Did Believe"...The Rumours version doesn't do a lot for me
