[QUOTE=bombaysaffires;1161452]now there's a song that could totally be given a rest. zzzz

I know most will disagree, but I find that song totally overplayed and boring. Yeah yeah he gets all amped up and does his finest guitar god impression and all that.... but... it made sense earlier on when that was indeed his one, big solo guitar moment in the spotlight. When shows were built on "the drum solo" and the "lead guitar solo" and all that. But the show, and his songs/plAying has evolved so much since those days. He gets several great guitar-focused spots in the show-- Big Love, GYOW, Not That Funny, Come.. whatever songs are in the set on a given tour. This one to me is the big, lumbering dinosaur and needs to have a happy retirement on the retired dinosaur farm. Just like certain Stevie songs.[/QUOTE

yes, ISA has been overplayed for sure but I have a special place for it and never get tired of hearing it, which surprises me considering the amount of times I have heard it. It never loses that wonderful energy in the final part of his solo. It gets me every time!!

Me, too...as long as somebody other than Lindsey plays & sings it, though.

Can you blame her? She didn't even have a song on side 2.

Not at all.
I never liked it in a Fleetwood Mac setlist.
It's always sounded rushed and sloppy. The only cringe-worthy song in a Fleetwood Mac show, (aside from Mick's drum-vest solo antics).

I do miss Sara - the way they did it on the last tour was pretty sublime.

Part of me misses "Stand Back", but it did feel like it was time to give this song a rest. The focus needed to be on Fleetwood Mac material this time, not solo. It seemed like she saved her energy and gave her all to "SB" some of the time on prior tours.

Regarding TITN - I would LOVE to hear this one, and ditch ISA for a while.

Default big love

I'd love to hear a TITN version of Big Love instead of the acoustic one we've heard the last 20 yrs.

I think many of us have been longing for TITN and full band Big Love for the last 3 tours, it seems like such a no-brainer doesn't it?

"Hold Me"" Hold Me" "Hold Me"!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I like to know why "Hold Me" was not on the setlist.I know I miss "Stand Back" but " Hold Me" was a chart topper for FM and it got axed from the setlist.

I would of settled for " Hold Me" to replace "Stand Back" and its a Chris tune I love.

Hold Me is the song I would most love to hear added to the setlist.

Think About Me should absolutely be in the spot where Everywhere is. Everywhere isnt even that much more if a hit then TAM. wasnt everywhere 17 and TAM 20. Plus its just a far better and less bubbly song and Chris would then join the Tusk set.

and Oh daddy should be getting played where over my head is. Or i guess id settle for hold me since its not been played since 1982. but i do applaud their ability to not play a top 4 hit for that long.

US: Everywhere 14, TAM 20
Internationally though Everywhere is one of their biggest ever hits reaching #4 in the UK, #2 in Ireland and #4 in Holland. TAM wasn't even released in many countries.

That said I'd personally be delighted with Think About Me instead of Everywhere. I like Everywhere but find it to be a bit lightweight live. Would love to see the Lindsey/Christine mix on TAM live- it's much more dynamic. The last minute or so on the Tusk tour sounds amazing.
