I can hear Christine on SATC.. So whether staged or not, she's on there.

oh yeah they DEFINITELY should have titled the album On With the Show

But again, I mourn, because we've really missed out on what I'm sure would have been three or more great contributions by Stevie.

Yet... on with the show ...

I'll probably get beat on for saying this. But, I think Stevie would have added to the project. Mirage without her songs would have been strange. I'm not mad at her anymore. I still think she's an egomaniac, but I'm glad she had a great tour and is doing her own thing.

Having said that, the chemistry between LB AND CM .. just wow!!

Everybody was welcomed to participate . You can clearly see it. And although some of it could've been staged, I don't see a troubled work environment. Everybody seem to enjoy it. So, I still don't understand her decision but at this point and after seeing and listening to what the final product has become, I don't care about her anymore.

Of course she could have added something but she didn't want to. That's the thing. I was never mad, I was always disappointed. Even though I sometimes look mad, it's just my way of expressing how sad her decision made me feel.

Yes! OMG! They have amazing chemistry! "I love youuuuuu!"

There was a point early on in the clip that I thought EXACTLY the same thing.

That said, yes, this certainly has the potential to be a masterpiece on its own terms.

So, I think the conclusion is: She didn't rob US. She robbed herself. And that's sad. THAT'S what Lindsey and Christine are so glad they didn't do with themselves, their chemistry, their love, their legacy, their art.

I am so happy to see the harmonious spirit between Lindsey and Christine. It is clear that Lindsey and Christine get along, they have similar musical ideas, they like one another, there was a positive feeling in the studio, and they have recorded a musical gem. I'm very glad they recorded this without Stevie. Even if Stevie had contributed two or three good songs, I seriously doubt that they would have been as good as what Lindsey & Chris have come up with, and her presence in the studio would probably have been disruptive. Hearing the wonderful harmonies that Chris & Lindsey sing on many of these songs, I don't think that adding Stevie's voice to the mix would have been helpful.

My only quibble is that Christine made it sound as if she spent 16 years in the country doing nothing. She did record one top notch album during those years, In the Meantime. Oh, and where was John? It was nice to see a few clips of Mick, but John was nowhere to be seen. Lindsey's comment makes it clear that John plays on the album, so maybe he just didn't want to bother with being involved with this preview film.

There were the briefest of clips of him at around 3.08 and then at 3.18. Otherwise its not exactly Johns thing to be on film. Its not as if Mick is featured much either.

I look forward to getting the hard copy cd to find out who played on what.

Oh, I love them so much. And it's great to hear Lindsey speaking with such a high regard for Christine. The other new songs sound great, which is reassuring.

It's like a happy 'Destiny Rules'!

So lovely to see this, and the songs just sound great. Lots of classic Mac moments in there.

When they were talking towards the end about how it feels like she'd never been away, it did make me feel rather mournful about what they might have produced in those 'lost' years. But then, that's Fleetwood Mac for you - they always leave you wanting more...

Yes. He adores her, and vice versa. I have always believed, without question, Christine is the heart of this band.

That is the source of my obsession.

Similar to when I collected every single bit of music ever recorded by Billy Mackenzie--and proudly displayed it all on my fireplace mantel. RIP
