I don't just LOVE Meryl Streep...I ADORE her! Everything she does...FABULOUS! She's not just a Hollywood actress, but she's a MOM (first and foremost! She brought her daughter tonight...) and she doesn't spend her free time trying to get attention...NEVER DID! AND HER SPEECH...I'm verklimpt! She makes a fantastic point about these big theatre chains...they NEVER have these awesome movies and I have to wait to either rent them OR see them on cable. BRAVO Meryl!

^^
You kind of stepped on my point there, yes.

It was nice to see her interacting like that with Jack's daughter also, they're both the big pro's and they're obviously friends as well. That was refreshing to see.

We're on a delay here, so I haven't read the whole thread but boy is there a room full of hot men, Kevin Bacon, Adrian Greiner, George Clooney. Everyone looks so beautiful.

Prince IS there! Sitting right behind Eddie Murphy. So why didn't he get his butt on stage to accept his award?

Adrian IS a total hottie! I love when Meryl wins, she gives the best speeches!

Also, I love how they don't limit the winners speeches too much.
It appears Dominick Dunne and Sharon Stone are sitting at the same table. Lots of shots of Brangelina. Wonder if Jennifer is there.

I knew there was a good reason I didn't like the guy. Definite WTF moment.

That's why I wanted Jack Nicholson to win also, but that didn't happen...

As for dresses...Cameron Diaz's is horrible and Beyoncé's...well, not good.

Angelina was borderline rude when being interviewed by Ryan Seacrest ... good thing Brad covered for her by answering all the questions.

I agree, Cameron Diaz's dress was UGLY. I liked Beyonce's though!

What the hell is his problem? Can't accept an award for a cartoony? I bet he accepted the money for it...Do you think it is because he's shy?

Crap, Zach Braff didn't win...and po' boy sure has been depressed lately! He needed the win badly! Alec Baldwin is an ass...he is making my "Jawga" girl Kim Basinger out to be such a witch in the press over their custody battle! I don't think he even mentioned his daughter in his speech...or did I miss it?

Yes he did, he thanked her for artistic inspiration.

Ya'll she's just STRANGE! I met her backstage on the Rosie O'Donnell show in 1998 and it looks like she hasn't changed a bit! Just look at the interview she did that reflected badly on Madonna...now she's back-tracking and saying she was misquoted...I think NOT.
Husband stealer she is...

Hey, did Jamie Foxx just call Prince's name out? I was in the bathroom...gotta rewind the DVR! Wow...how weird.
