Thumbs up

Thanks Mario! Great pictures. Seems that this concert has not been announced. I wonder if there is any film from it?

Thanks Mario, I can't believe how good he looks, and standing too!

I was worried when he was growing his beard again, but it's obviously a good thing. I just wish he wasn't scared of the United States.

When I read the Christopher Hjort book there were quotes from that period where Peter Green thought he would be knifed, or mugged just walking out of his hotel in NYC. Sure NYC was bad back then, but it's nowhere near as crime-ridden today.

Default Touring the U.S.A.

I read one of the interviews that Matin Celmins did with Danny Kirwan where Kirwan says that he was terrified of touring the U.S.A.. I always thought it was he not Peter that had major concerns about crime in the States. I'm sure we will see Peter in North America again, a new album to tour behind would improve the odds.

Anyway, he has to stop in Canada first! Eh!

I know that he spent time here back in the day. There is an old local rumor that the shotgun used in his verbal threat to his accountant, via Clifford Davis ,was purchased by Peter in my home town. He was here with the Splinter Group in 1998 or so, but I wasn't even aware that he had been making a comeback at the time, so I missed it unfortunately.
