^^ Those prices are actually reasonable compared to what they were charging for the Newark and Brooklyn shows last year. Floor seats were $800. Hey, it's only money, er, rock 'n' roll.

I remember some of the Eagles tix were inflated over the years.I'm glad that FM is still reasonable as of cost of living increase of tix prices.

I enjoy the Stones music But I probably wont go see them live.

Oh, definitely not. They played two (or three?) nights at the Prudential Center (FM plays there on the 23rd) and two nights at the Barclays Center, which is much, much larger than The Garden. Prices were comparable at the London shows too. Thank Buddah I am not a big Rolling Stones fan!

When I put in for a seat in Chicago and LA it came up as $622.95 back section of floor. Apparently the $1200.00 Tongue seating was sold out. I'm gonna pass anyways, price is way too much and nose bleed sucks. Will check it out on youtube instead.

Before Michael Fleetwood swooped in with his low ball price of $425.00(excuse me while I throw up), didn't Ticketba$tard have 800.00 seats for our big Mac?

i've seen up to $2500 for front row center in some of the venues. but those are platinums. Wells Fargo regular face value for Mac was somewhere around $160 (i think?), for the same seats that are regular price $600 for the Stones. Stones probably have some or the other variation of platinums on the top of these.

My sister and my brother in law will be going to see the Eagles at the Mohegan Sun in July here in CT.

Eagles Tix

US $195.00 Ticket + US $20.60 Fees = US $215.60

The cheap seat tix ring in at $125 plus the BS charges.

for the good seats which the prices are not all bad.

The VIP Tix start at $400 up to $895.

Default Schadenfreude

I was hoping this would happen...

http://www.billboard.com/articles/ne...ing-of-tickets

I love how they are trying to spin this...

Quote:
Reports of sluggish sales and deep discounting for the Rolling Stones' "50 and Counting" tour are inaccurate, says the trip's promoter... Meglen says that, as opposed to discounting, price adjustments on Stones shows in L.A. and elsewhere reflect a "flex pricing" strategy and attempts by AEG Live and the Stones to keep tickets out of the hands of brokers.

Meglen says more than 20,000 $600 tickets sold in Los Angeles across the four shows. "Did we hit a point where we ran out of people that would buy at $600? Yeah," he says. "But why can't we do the 'market value’ thing? Why do we have to let the market value proposition live with the scalpers? Why should, in my estimation, $3 million go to the brokers, instead of the artists, in every one of these markets?"
I think Meglen should run for elected office as a Republican. He's almost as good as Romney was at double-speak. It's not a discount! It's a "flex pricing strategy!"
