Thank you. It's great to get current pictures of her as well. It's interesting how she noted that outside of America, she didn't have a problem with Fleetwood Mac fans who were more focused on Mick and John than they were on Stevie.

I am not sure that the sobriety she says Mick had at that time stuck, but at least she had a good experience working with him. Peas and carrots.

Thanks for posting. Interesting that Mick wanted her to do Stevie songs and she did not want to. I can totally get that. She is beautiful and its hard not to think of her as a Stevie replacement even though that may be insulting to her.

Cool interview. Glad she's gotten some attention. She's such a good singer.

The part about her time in Fleetwood Mac is much more positive than I was expecting. When Billy Burnette talked during his Penguin Q-A about him and her in the "Time"-era band, he seemed pretty negative.

BTW: What's Bekka's fixation with steak bones? ...

I don't read anything about her feeling insulted. When you replace one beautiful blonde singer with another beautiful blonde singer, comparisons are inescapable.
She made the point that she was not Stevie's replacement.

Not surprised that Mick wanted her to sing Stevie's signature songs. Bekka was very smart to stand her ground and not set herself to appear like a Stevie stand in. I hope she will be able to release her solo album. Such a diverse talented singer/songwriter, she deserves her day in the spotlight as a solo star.

I never said she SAID she was insulted.
I SAID that because she was a beautiful blonde replacing a beautiful blonde that many called her a Stevie replacement. THAT would be insulting to her since she did not see it that way. Its shallow and disregards her talent. Perhaps you may have a better adjective?
