I imagine Chris was stuck touring. I bet when she came back she lost her voting rights AND had to sign a multi tour agreement to keep her from doing what she did in 97 and leaving after the tour. She lost is stuck trying to make the best of it. I bet she resents all this drama greatly.

My personal opinion is that this all boiled down to new music. I think Lindsey was tired of just being a touring band and that is all Stevie wanted.
I think Lindsey wanted to either push back the tour or tour solo along side the Mac with new music of his own and prove to Stevie that the fans do want to hear new stuff and not the same old songs. That is where the "lost the perspective" came from. And I think Stevie blew a gasket and Mick supported her and the crap hit the fan between Stevie/Lindsey. Mick made the decision to go with Stevie.

Coming this fall
Stevie Nicks unveils a new and updated version of the classic fan hit Fireflies!
(Check it out on tour this fall--complete with that magical Fleetwood Mac sound we all know and love ..... i.e. Mike Campbell and Neil Finn!) Fire Lies 2018 (c) Brexit Witch Music Lindsey's the last to leave The last to be gone Stolen like our legacy He held on too long He is the latest in the line Of the ones I discard Now he's shattered with his dreams And I'm relishing the fun Wrote a song 'bout it I caused the breakdown Around MusiCares My vibrato helps Mick Maintain his long silver hair "Long Distance Winner" I guess my lyrics weren't right Looks like the winner is me Have fun cry'in in the night I would love to believe I believe what I say All the drama that I churn up Whatever sells my face No Chris you can't leave All but Lindsey stay close As I snort the pain Lindsey's the latest to leave What caused it this time? A 'divorce in the night'? More like 'fired without reason'! Buy our lies, love the fight Do you believe in the five? ...Sorry make that 'six,' now 'Cause anything goes Anything goes ...Now you're fired, guys!

Turns out they weren't the coolest, but the coldest.

Last night I looked at ticketmaster for the forum shows in LA....WOW!!!!!! They are experiencing quite a drop off in business and trust me, they can surround themselves with all the "yes folks" they want, but word is getting back to them. This stunt will hit them in the pocketbooks. It won't go unrecognized.
Some of these shows look like they are selling worse than shows during the recession in 2009. I will be shocked if they don't get forced to move shows into smaller venues if they don't unload a ton of tickets in the next few months.

There are plenty of seats left open in Houston, Texas for February 5. As of yet, I have not purchased tickets for this show. These same venue was nearly sold out for the 2015 Tour. Except for the upper reaches of the balcony, there wasn't a seat to be found in 2015. Weeks after tickets went on sale, I look at the map of available tickets for 2019. There are open blue seats dotted everywhere.

Yes, that's my guess too. Lawyers. It wouldn't be FM without lawyers. Quote:
And if it is, then it wasn't as bad as they made us believe in the first place.

I was at The Classics and he certainly wasn't happy making music with them. He was happy doing BuckVie music and those two FM concerts were not something he wanted. You can say the band is a big part of his life, but tell me: where's the joy of being sorrounded by people who doesn't like you? He wants it back for what? Being around people that doesn't want to work with you anymore just for the sake of still being part of a band? Now if you tell me he's doing it for the money, then I totally get it, and I don't doubt that's one of the reasons he wants to be back.

By myself, I can move 1500 tickets, but with FM, 20,000! I'd think 95% of artists would prefer the latter.
