Default Madison Blues box set

I just found a new issue of the Madison Blues box set on Amazon. It was originally released back in 2003. I think most of us have this, but there were a few who didn't buy it because of the price, usually over $25. This release is ALOT cheaper...only about $12. It doesn't say anything about the DVD, just the 2 CDs. Maybe that's why it's cheaper? It's being released on August 22nd.

I thought the three disc box was a huge bargain. I'm sure I only paid $16USD for a new and sealed copy; maybe $25 was suggested retail or something?

$16 was a bargain. I think I paid a little over $25 including air mail shipping from the U.K.

Fleetwood Mac: Madison Blues

Two CD set that featuring music from a pivotal period in the evolution of Fleetwood Mac. Following the departure of Peter Green in May 1970, Christine (Perfect) McVie joined Mick Fleetwood, Jeremy Spencer, John McVie and Danny Kirwan and the next chapter in the Fleetwood Mac history book was written. These CDs contain a mixture of studio and live recordings including four rare tracks from the Christine Perfect Band (Christine McVie's outfit following her departure as vocalist for Chicken Shack and before joining the Mac). 29 tracks including 'Hey Baby', 'Jewel-Eyed Judy', 'It's You I Miss' and many more.

I think I paid around $15 or $16 for mine...that included the DVD, too.

Same here. I didn't really care what I paid for it. If it's something that I really want, I don't really care very much how much it costs. If I had waited, I could have gotten it cheaper. But, so what? I'm happy with it.

That Madison Blues set was a good deal, even if a bit pricey. I paid aroun 25 bucks in France for it. But no complaints here. Those live-in-studio songs, for instance, are really quite polished. Te two live sets are rare. And Jeremy's interview was surprisingly great to watch.

My sentiments exactly, and we have had all this time already to enjoy it.
Infact i will put it on later as this thread has warmed my appetite for it again.
