get over what?

You just seem to not want to hear me.

PS:

I did not attack you. I did not quote anything.

Look at chili's post you last quoted. THERE you go. You agreed. You two constantly bash that performance.

I LOVE IT

I LOVE IT

I LOVE IT

Get over having to use it as an example every time you want to point something out. Try using something different. Or is it just to direct it at Steve and myself?

Oh I hear you and I understand what you are saying regarding it as art etc.

I'm not attacking the concept or the idea, just the application.

Yes you are right I was incorrect to be drawn into your arguement and to try and point out examples. I'll refrain in future. Nothing more needs to be said about those artists. They and their bodies of work can speak for themselves.

A suggestion:

It is VERY important, but also very difficult, to learn anything by ear musically. Lindsey's stuff is especially difficult--sometimes, it can seem impossible.

But it isn't.

The people here who are not posting tabs are only trying to help you, of course, but you don't realize it yet. So, here's an alternative:

Try learning it yourself. Spend 2 hours playing it over and over and over. Lindsey's FM stuff is almost always in standard tuning (or drop D), so there's nothing there to really trip you up. Try learning it, post what you think is correct, then we here who know these songs can help push you in the right direction in places wherein you've gone wrong. ChiliD used to do this for me when I started playing. No one here will laugh at a decent attempt.

Just a suggestion. Take it or leave it.

Adam

Yes, worse songs, but, not too many worse performances.
