Milwaukee and tour summary
So its all over now as the Rolling Stones once said. Well, here's one fans review of last night and the past 9 months. Milwaukee was a lot of fun, Pattie, Christy and several other of my friends were there and we had a blast. Lindsey genuinely appreciated the audience response, even from miss bar whore 2007! Those of u there were there will know who I'm talking about. Anyway, at the end of the show I got a real suprise when Neale's guitar tech(I'm embarassed to say I cant remember his nem) yelled to me and said "The guys wanted you to have this." What it was wasa plastic folder with show itineraries from about the last 35 shows plus a bunch of Guitar picks. Now that was cool! I never seek out that kind of attention but it felt really nice to be recognized like that! SO what a past 9 months it has been. his has been the most fun of any tour I've ever followed includin Fleetwood Mac. The personal contact and rapport I was lucky enough to enjoy with Lindsey, Brett, Neale and Wally was something I'll treasure forever. Everyone was so generous and appreciative of me and others at went through so much to go to all the shows we went to.
Lindsey Buckingham It is very important for me to say a few words about this incredible man. I was lucky enough to meet him 10 different times on this tour and EVERYTIME hewas very generous with his time. This is truly one of the most unpretentious decent people Ive ever met. Having followed Fleetwood Mac for 30 years, to actually be able to express how I feel to an actual member of the band I so admire and to have that person actually be interested in what I have to say and engage me in conversation is something that I will NEVER FORGET! Thank you Lindsey, from the bottom of my heart! Here's a list of allthe shows I was fortunate enough to be able to attend: 10-20, Cleveland 10-21, Cincinnati 10-22, Detroit 2-2, Kansas City 2-3, St Louis 3-19, Asheville 3-20, Baltimore 3-21, Pittsburgh 4-7, Minneapolis 4-9, Chicago 4-10, Des Moines 4-13, Albuquerque 4-14, Albuquerque 4-16, Boulder 4-17, Boulder 6-6, Los Angeles 6-7, Anaheim 6-8, Mesa 6-9, Las Vegas 6-26, Rapid City 6-27, Sioux Falls 6-28, Fargo 6-30, Milwaukee Last edited by DavidMn; 07-04-2007 at 05:44 PM.. |

Can anyone report back on the Milwaukee performance? I should have gone, but I had a prior engagement in nyc (the Morrissey concert. . . which then was cancelled!).

Yes, how was the "last show" performance? Did Lindsey have any "end of the tour" comments? Any news on a new CD and touring? Any news on europe? You did ask about an overseas tour, right? |
