I've listened to this again and she says "a couple of little Beverly Hills poofters"

I wonder if she talks about Dougal and George in the same manner?

Gail

No, you're not going mad. I thought it was "little poofers" or something like that. Is that British slang or did she make up a word?
LOL, little poofters. Oh, Chris. Thanks for these, Mary Anne!

Probably. They're the same breed as the dogs("little poofters")that she had back in the 1980's.

I'll bet the lady that was interviewing her had no idea what a "poofter" was?

They are all one track on my CDs & I can't break them up into smaller tracks.

Thank you sooo much!!! I'm downloading them right now as I'm typing this!

Now I only wish my parents would get out of the Stone Age and upgrade to high-speed internet access so I could download this stuff faster!!!

I know what you mean. I just upgraded to DSL about 4 months ago. I never would have uploaded these tracks on dial-up. It would have taken too long.

Yeah, I thought you said something about having dial up before but then you upgraded...... Otherwise I woudn't have asked But since I'm stuck with my parents for financial reasons, they don't understand that dial-up is good only if you're looking to check your email and print a few pages.

In other words, if you download a lot of stuff everyday, half you computer time could be spent just downloading that stuff. Not to mention if you're on a 56k modem, everything is just slooooooooooow......

Sigh...... But thanks again for reposting those files for me! If I ever get high-speed, I hope I'll be able to do the same!

yes, thanks for posting these again as i didn't get them the first time around. i have no internet in my apartment, so other than bringing my laptop to work, i am at the mercy of picking up the stray wireless signal every now and again.

Does anyone here still have these interviews? Would love to hear them.

There seems to be another Rockline interview from 1983. Would love it if one has that too.

Sucks to be a new fan sometimes *sigh*
