coulda been better - Rhiannon!! i prefer the single version TOTALLY
everybody favorite but not mine - Crystal I wouldve rather just Stevie sang it
better live - Rhiannon (back in the day)
overall least fav - Sugar Daddy... only song i just don't like AT ALL

Songs that could have been better - Over My Head (feels kind of... empty)

Everybody's favorite but not mine - Landslide

Much better performed live - Rhiannon (up until The Dance era)

Overall least favorite - Monday Morning

See, this IS going to get ugly. "Sugar Daddy" is a great song. Would have made a great last track for a pop album. And represents a near-definitive Myth of a sociological phenomenon (it would later be replaced by the Pet Shop Boys' "Rent").

Worst Lyrics - Blue Letter cuz it wasn't written by LSC

The "used to likes" - Still love them all (but see below's everybody's fav)

Songs that could have been better - none

Everybody's favorite but not mine - ISA - I recognize its brilliance and it is the perfect closer for an album/artists of greater ambition than they are usually recognized. But I wouldn't exactly call it my faaaavorite--it's a touch pretentious

Much better performed live - World Turning - Surprisingly fun when you're there in person (not to listen to on a bootleg or watch at home though)

Overall least favorite - World Turning

Worst Lyrics - "Warm Ways." I can't be the only one who shudders at "You made me a woman tonight."

The "used to likes" - "My Little Demon." After a while I realized that it was that song on The Dance that was separating me from "Silver Springs," so it is always skipped now.

Songs that could have been better - "Smile at You." Puhlease.

Everybody's favorite but not mine - "I Don't Want to Know." It is utterly forgettable.

Much better performed live - "Silver Springs"

Overall least favorite - "I'm So Afraid." It's plodding and overlong, especially in concert. Definitely a bathroom break song.

i thought that we were supposed to only pick from the White Album? and then there would be one for Rumours...etc..

You are correct--and STILL the White album got two mentions including the final choice.

Worst Lyrics - I like the song 'Sugar Daddy' but the lyrics are a little 'off'.

The "used to likes" - 'Monday Morning'- I used to like it better. I'm unsure why I don't think it's as good now.

Songs that could have been better - 'World Turning'

Everybody's favorite but not mine - 'Landslide'

I suspect what you might be responding to is that, to me, on this song Christine's voice sounds more like it did in recordings prior to 1975's white album.

Anyway, maybe I'm projecting: that's the hump I had to get over to finally appreciate it for all of its greatness.

This is like pulling teeth--I love almost the entire white album. Their most even set, IMO.

Worst Lyrics - Warm Ways--I like the song, but like Hejira I invariably wince at "you made me a woman."

The "used to likes" - None, really.

Worst Lyrics - Warm Ways. (The song sounds gorgeous though, which makes me want to sing along, which... blergh)

The "used to likes" - Monday Morning (nice opener, but it lost its lustre pretty quick)

Songs that could have been better - Landslide (the vocal on this version isn't my favorite)

Everybody's favorite but not mine - Over My Head (if I have to pick)

Much better performed live - Blue Letter (I love John and Mick on this)
