Lightbulb The Fleetwood Mac "Top Gun" Video Thread

Hi guys - I thought it might be fun if we have a thread where everyone can post what they
feel are the *very* best Fleetwood Mac/Stevie/Lindsey videos. To try to be clear, I'd like this to
be "The *MIT* of videos" - "Top Gun" - Only the BEST of the best. Pretend you have a friend who's
just told you, "OH I've never really paid attention to them; are they really all they're cracked up to be?"
And you just want to BLOW that person's mind, with his or her jaw dropping to floor going "OH . . . my . . .God."

So here's what I feel is a perfect example of them at their best - "Go Your Own Way" - The Dance, of course - 1997.
I feel that they're very tight here and the interplay between John and Mick is just amazing.
And between - well - ALL of them!
Enjoy!

And, of course, Gold Dust Woman Japan 1977 - I think Stevie's performance is one of her best ever.

Naturally, "Rosebud Rhiannon" - 1976. Sometimes I wonder if this has been their *very* best performance ever.

I absolutely 100% agree with "The Chain" from The Dance.
There's this feeling like "We are back!"
And John's absolutely amazing on bass;
and Stevie's totally rocking out - giving it full throttle.

I totally dig that Gold Dust Woman you posted, Brandon! Lindsey did some very funky stuff with his guitar that was decidedly off script!

For me, the holy grail of all Mac performances will always be this one:

I think it goes without saying that this performance of this song birthed a whole new generation of FM fans.

That particular version of "Rhiannon" isn't on my personal "short-short list"
but I absolutely agree with you about that performance of "The Chain" -
just for starters I think Lindsey's pretty incredible on guitar there; and Stevie's
performance is just stunning.

P.S. - Oh - And I just watched the version of "The Chain" you posted - I totally agree - flawless!

I'm certainly not afraid to post THIS gem!
Lindsey on guitar here is an omg moment for
me, and I feel the "call and response" between
Stevie and Lindsey is just - Well, I need a thesaurus.

And Mick on Drums, and let's not forget John on Bass!

Also, 20 or so years later - Just as amazing but different!
(And with 2 decade's worth more experience...)

And believe it or not, I feel that this is the "tightest"
that I've ever seen them. . . .

(Isn't it Midnight 1987.)

No John or Lindsey, but it does have Mick and Christine (I think) and Stevie... so it sorta counts. Plus, it's one of my favourite Gold Dust Womans of all time.

And a more modern one; the end wail is glorious. I always like to think it's Stevie showing Bekka who REALLY sings GDW better (/slightly rude comment there, and I do like Bekka's version too! )

Both of those versions of G.D.W. are on my very,
very, short list - In fact, if somebody else didn't post
them, I was planning to!
