Thank you msLinds! I still find new interviews with Yoko so compelling, probably because John and her were/are such fascinating people.

Default Interviews with Yoko on Anderson Copper 360

Your welcome Nico.I agree with you about Interviews by Yoko being compelling. No matter what peoples personal feeling are about Yoko. That is a emotionally heavy interview to watch. In the second part listening to her talk about how when they rushed John to the Emergency room in the hospital. How they bought Yoko Johns wedding ring he wore. When they declared him dead.Talking about the cowardly scumbag that assassinated him.Its so heavy to watch and still so sad.But I agree with Yoko we should celebration Johns life and not just remember how he died. Part 3 of the interview with Anderson Cooper 360 is tonight. But your still be able to watch all 3 segments online later for those that miss it.Here are both parts 1 and 2 of the interviews together.

parts 1 and 2 posted

Default Last Ever Photographs Of John Lennon Put Up For Auction

I have little news to share. So I thought I would update this thread for those interested.

Photographs of John Lennon taken during a radio interview in New York City just days before his death are expected to cost thousands of pounds when they go on sale next month.

http://www.live4ever.uk.com/2010/10/...#ixzz13iZAEHRu

Also also have little more news about that new film that just came out about John Lennons life in New York City called "LennonNYC ". I just saw on another message board. That Amazon will have that new film out on DVD on January 25th 2011.But I am sure it will also be sold in DVD stores and other online places that sell DVD's etc.

Thanks msLinds. I know that those pics are actually not the last pictures taken before he died but they have been labeling them as such for whatever reasons. I think the pics of John with Yoko that Annie Leibovitz took- the famous one from Rolling Stone and others with him fully clothed- were actually taken on December 8th, the day he died.

I want to see this "LennonNYC!!" Did you see "Nowhere Boy" by any chance?

Default Just wanted to share...

Ok, I got Sean and Charlotte's new album The Ghost of a Saber Tooth Tiger and I really like it. It's very quiet, though. Normally, I like louder, faster stuff but can totally appreciate softer, quieter music. It has a very 1960's French pop thing going- with the delivery and the melodies. Their voices combined is truly beautiful. The second song, which I forgot the name of, is gorgeous.

I actually have been a Sean fan for a while. His first album Into the Sun, was released when I was in high school and I remember getting it and thinking he was incredibly unique and melodically gifted. His voice was a tad higher then, so I didn't feel the John Lennon connection too much there. Nowadays, I see SO much of John in Sean. Sean is, in my opinion, more diverse and interesting musically than his brother. I adore Jules but his stuff is a lot more generic. But his albums Valotte and Photograph Smile are simply stunning.

If anyone has the John Lennon Signature Box...I literally teared up at both Julian and Sean's introductions. Especially Sean's. They are really lovely guys and it's terrible that John's life was taken away and two boys lost the opportunity to have their dad around to see them grow up into really kind, talented men.

Default Sean Lennons New Album and New Update

I also like Seans and Charlotte's " The Ghost Of A Saber Tooth Tiger " new album "Acoustic Sessions alot.It is alot quieter. But he says in inteviews he wanted their first official album to be more of a stripped down version, with them jst singing and his guitar etc.I agree Seans music is incredibly unique and he is melodically gifted.I know he has a kind and good heart and is a caring guy to.He is very caring and good toward his fans. Also he is not stuck up and does not act like a spoiled rich kid.I also read they are releasing a album soon with a electric guitars, drums, etc and a full band.I read they are allready mixing it.So in the near future there is another CD from them coming out.I became a fan when his album Friendly Fire came out several years ago.I really like his brother Julians music alot to.I know Julian has said on his official Facebook page. That he has a new album of his own coming out soon to.Julian is very much a activist on many important causes to..I think John would be very proud of both his sons right now.

Here is interesting article about Seans new Acoustic Sessions album

A thing of beauty from that ‘beautiful boy’ Sean Lennon

Default Sean + Kemp book of photographs

I have another update for Nico or anyone else interested.
Sean Lennon and girlfriend Charlotte Kemp Muhl are in a book of photographs.Called " Sean+ Kemp " These photographs were shot by Alex Freund. Its being sold right now online on Amazon and Barnes@Noble and I am sure in other bookstores and places online. This book has been out now for couple of months.I think they both are a beautiful couple. There is also Ellie.com article online about this book.

Ellie article about* Sean + Kemp book of photographs

Between running a music label, playing in a band, and juggling day jobs that include, oh, being the face of Maybelline, It Couple Sean Lennon and Charlotte Kemp Muhl found the time to spend a day in a New York City studio with photographer Alex Freund. It resulted in Sean + Kemp, a 50-page coffee table-worthy book now available at Colette that captures this duo in their most intimate (and provocative—think Muhl straddling Lennon like she’s riding a motorcycle) moments. We caught up with Freund to find out the hardest part about shooting a couple, and why he didn’t want to re-enact Double Fantasy.

I love that we're writing these news bits back and forth to each other msLinds. I think Sean and Charlotte are a sweet couple and I found a pretty funny video of them taken by a film crew, candidly, after one of their shows. Check out Elliot Mintz!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HvdlDc1zeLs

Also, found this news bit about John's last audio recording and autograph. Click on the link and you can hear it. He sounded like such a lovely, normal guy and I'm still so distraught that he was so giving to his fans and that mess had to happen to him.

I love this part, because it shows how sentimental Sean is when it comes to people/things associated with his dad:

Of Paul McCartney he says, 'I’m just so excited when I’m around him. It’s like when you see a white buffalo and you just hold your breath – you’re just hoping that it’s not going to end. Because,’ he adds quietly, 'it’s the closest I can come to hanging out with my dad. Every second I’ve ever spent with Paul has been really meaningful to me. He was my dad’s best mate for a long time. And my dad didn’t have many friends, you know?’

I should post the dedications from Yoko, Julian, and Sean found in the Lennon Signature box...as a John fan you can't help but get emotional. He is so loved by his family, and missed by almost everyone else.
