3 New LB songs on Apatow soundtrack

but, i was kinda hoping that Sick Of You will be an Illumination-like faster song. we can hear parts of both verses and chorus in the snippet and i don't like either much so i don't have much hope for that one...

She Acts Like You snippet sounds pretty.

BaS - i have no idea where the whole song will go and am keeping an open mind about that one - may still like it when i hear the whole thing, just don't like the snippet that we can hear. i had (guess still have!) high hopes for that one since sounds like it would be interesting collaboration.

Brother & Sister sounds promising & I'm really liking She Acts Like You (though I expected it to be a bit edgier.) Not really sure I like Sick of You.
Regardless, I think its pretty cool Lindsey is getting some mainstream exposure. I hope the clips they play in the movie aren't really short

I agree. If people like this soundtrack, they can't help but noticing that strange, fellow who has three different cuts on it. It may cause a few people to check out more of Mr. B's work.

The title "She Acts Like You" reminds me of the lyrics, "she's a lot like you."

That's what I thought as well. But in listening to it, it seems to be about a baby acting like it's mother? Unless I misinterpreted, which is quite possible, as the clips are very short.

hard to tell really, but sounds like a song about a woman to me (mostly because of "baby never comes around").

"She acts like you" sounds good and very appropriate for a romantic comedy with its indie-pretty ways.

I prefer Lindsey's live voice over his studio recordings any day.

I love his live voice so much and hate that he messes with it so much in the studio. I much prefer listening to the live versions of most of his songs because of this.
