The only show I saw was the one here in Philadelphia & he was there. I assume that he played the entire tour. I think I remember an interview with Christine before the tour started & she mentioned that she was bringing along an extra keyboard player & an extra guitar player. I think she originally wanted Billy Burnette to be the extra guitar player. I assume he couldn't make it so she took Bruton instead. He apparently had played in Kris Kristofferson's band.

I just posted 2 videos on YouTube from Solid Gold...Love Will Show Us How & So Excited. They wouldn't let me post Got A Hold On Me because of WMG copyright. The quality of these videos is horrible & the audio and video are out of synch. Her lip synching wasn't that bad.

Hey, bad quality is better than nothing! I just wanted to say thanks for posting these -- it sure beats wearing out my old videotapes!

Well it's funny you should say that because didn't she buy Anthony Newley's house from him and wasn't he once married to Joanie?

I finally watched the clip. Fantastic! Even if it was sort of like watching TV through a glass of water.

Could anybody tell what Chris was wearing on her feet? She was as tall as Dick Clark, who, by the way, was so ga-ga over Chris I thought he was going to ask her to marry him. I enjoyed that.

I think Christine must be totally unique in the history of rock. You'd think that she'd have to be tough and mean to survive as a woman in a rock 'n' roll band, but instead she's modest and unassuming.

she may be "modest and unassuming" but you wouldn't want to mess with her would you? Not unless you were sure of your exit and had a fast car waiting

Ahh ... so the modest and unassuming bit is just for show, eh? When you get her behind a closed door that's when the mean and tough kicks in. LOL. I always wondered about that with her!

Yes and before Newley and Collins it belonged to Tony Curtis and Janet Leigh. That house wasn't very good on marriages was it? But I guess no house in hollywood is.

Well she's tough enough to stand up to Lindsey - and he listens to her (well of course he used to)

Not sure if this is the house in question, but this has been on-line for awhile.

That appears to be the house in CA that she had bought from Anthony Newley. I hadn't seen that before. Thanks for posting!
