Exclamation April Release Date?!

http://www.jsonline.com/onwisconsin/...n03/109007.asp

Check the link...look @ the bottom of the article. It mentions Fleetwood Mac as a release in April. I expected more like May...but this would be great. The album is done isn't it...why wait any longer than that!

They've been saying "April" for about 6 months now.

Personally, I think they should release the album in March.
They could pretty much dominate the charts and the news media for weeks, before the big-name blitz that typically occurs in April and May.

Once the tour starts, it won't matter who else has released, or is releasing, a new album.

Ah well, Warner Bros. never does anything logically.

In this week's issue of "Hello" magazine, there is huge article on "Which musical artists to look out for in 2003"....it has about 30 different artists, starting with the Rolling Stones and ending with Emma Noble, but not a word about Fleetwood Mac. It seems that here in the UK, as far as publicity is concerned, they could set a release date of "30th February" and nobody would care.

p.s. for those of you in the U.S. who don't know "Emma Noble", she used to be one of the "models" in the TV gameshow "The Generation Game": she would show contestants to their seats and stand in the front of the prizes demonstrating how the oven door opens. She undoubtedly has a musical background that Fleetwood Mac could only dream of.

Wait, that's a Thursday(I;ve only just realised that, my sister's birthday is also on a Thurday), so the Monday before or after my birthday would be fine.(although if it's released the week after my B.day, I'll have to go in on the Saturday after and get it)

both march and april are a problem, they are both heavy with major releases, getting a spotlight on the album might be a hard task on both months...
in march you have macy gray, melanie c., linkin park, kosheen, the prodigy, cardigans, simply red, blur...
in april it's foxy brown, metallica, stinK, marilyn manson, portishead, limp bizkit, iggy pop, the offspring, and of course madonna's new album.
an even bigger problem is the fact that in april you gonna have the reformed Tears For Fears and reformed Duran Duran releasing albums, fleetwood mac might become just another one in the pack...(horrifying thought isn't it?).
my conclusion: it must be released next week!!!

I don't want it to be released next week, unless I get it and get OOTC in March.
