This is certainly the case when comparing HAHTF to the album version of "Over My Head". Since I am far more familiar with "Over My Head"'s single remix, the similarities were not immediately apparent.

I probably don’t understand the assignment. I’m not good with music definitions but I do put Behind the Mask and Heart of Stone in a category. I am not sure what to call it.

Yeah, it’s hard to create categories for her songs. Most of them are mid-tempo pop songs or ballads. Occasionally she delivers an up-tempo rock-n-roll tune but even those are more tuneful and easygoing than all-out rockers. I agree: Heart of Stone and Behind the Mask have a similar, minor-key vibe that isn’t especially commercial and the songs hit a little deeper (if not harder) than her usual tunes. I consider Sooner or Later a part of that grouping.
