I've forgotten how much I love this tune.

It is such a catchy, confident song. And it fits right in with contemporary music. IN many ways, edgier and more relevant to current pop than anything on LB/CM.

It’s a great tune but missing Lindsey Buckinghams magic to make it even better.

He would have cut the bass and keyboards "call and response". Glad he's not on this.

He’d have un-grooved it, turned a funky pop tune into a quirky ditty. I prefer the heat and sexual overtones on this.

I’d rather Bob Welch be on “Come Out To Play” than Lindsey come within a hundred feet of this.

He would add barking every time she sung, "won't you come out to play"

But when I hear ITM today, I still marvel at how good it is. Dan Perfect may not have had a sense of "narrative arranging" but he knew how to get a great, contemporary sound. He also seemed to work effortlessly with his Aunt. For her part, Christine's songs are split between R&B-influenced pop and folk-influenced pop, showing off equal sides of her "split" musical personality. I think "Anything Is Possible," "Forgiveness," "Bad Journey," "Liar," and "Friend" are great "up" tunes! And then there is "Giving it Back"--which is the most Fleetwood Mac non-Fleetwood Mac song of the 2000s.
