Default Rick Turner fiasco

is finally over! I got my Model 1 via UPS today. It's STILL not the right colour, but hell, I'll take what I can get at this point. I will get more pics up later!

PS...(thanks Eliza) =)

Sweet. What sort of guitar would you say they are like for playability? I'd like to get one in the future if they'd be comfortable but it's unlikely I'll get to try one before so I want to make sure. They look pretty wide necked and I'm used to pretty slim necks so I'm not sure they'd be a nice fit for me

Well, what problems did you have getting it? Are they for sale to the public and is there a price list? What color was it supposed to be?

thanks for any help!

haha...how much time ya got buddy?

It took over a year to get and I had to get a lawyer involved. Bummer.

Yeah they are available to the public thru Turner himself...Renaissance Guitars is the name of his company. He will custom make any instrument he offers. I think Paul (also here on the Ledge) has a gold top version being finished up right now.

I'm so glad you got it.

You went through the wringer. Between the amount of money at stake and the way they were giving you the runaround, it's criminal, even if the guitar turns out to be everything you dreamed of in the end.

Dude, I'm glad you got your guitar. You were smart to get a lawyer.
I know you said it's not the right color, but is everything else okay
with the guitar?

If you come to newry. I'll let you play my gold top if you want to. when i get it. which shouldnt be too long now

Also the gold top has a custom neck which has a specifically slimmer profile than the standard neck. this guitar could be right up your street. plus you wouldnt have to wait on it.
