But it's not a band project. So it has nothing to do with "functioning band."
That's Neil solo. You're talking about an extra curricular. Because Stevie went to see "Parasite" and ate at Applebee's with Neil on Saturday night, does that make it a "functioning band?

You put it in your category, but that's not gospel, right?

Mike Campbell is on it, too, so it’s 2/3 of the band.

Stevie at Applebees..oh darn, please let’s go there.

How many dollar margaritas would it take for Stevie Nicks to write a new song!?

How many dollar margaritas would it take before Stevie Nicks claims she’s responsible for Prince’s entire fist album and they vacationed together in Italy for 20 years.

No. But then nothing around here is gospel. A song with 2/3 of the band is close enough for me.

Don't forget, when Lindsey was asked to join and brought her along for the ride, she went out and bought all of FM's albums and listened to them backwards and forwards and forwards and backwards and said "Lindsey, I really think we can add something here" but she just skipped over BMW apparently.

As an aside, SOMEONE must be in the room with her when she does these interviews. If Savannah Guthrie can fact check Donald Trump on the fly, can't Karen or whomever else might in the room with Stevie and is vying for a spot in the will when she goes, quietly tap her on the shoulder and say "reign it in Pinocchio, you sound crazier than usual?"

Perhaps you don't value or honor Mick and John. To consider Find Your Way "close to Mac" is disrespectful to those men because you have no previous recording of a new song with Stevie, Chris, Mike, Neil, Mick and John to base it off of. You have YouTube videos of the lineup doing songs that Mike and Neil did write or participate in the original recording.

How many dollar margaritas before Stevie claims being an actual member of the heartbreakers for 5 months in 1983...

LMAO

I mean to be fair Mick has no shame, he entertained replacing both John and Christine at different points in time. It’s not like they value one another AT ALL

This could turn into a huge philosophical discussion as to what constitutes Fleetwood Mac and what does not.

Like, is “Hypnotized” from Live At The Roxy Fleetwood Mac? Mick and John play on it, Christine is singing backing vocals, and those four were a lineup of Fleetwood Mac.

What about Jeremy’s solo album where he was backed by Mick, John, and Danny and had a cameo from Peter?

What about Christine’s version of “When You Say” with John and Danny?

And, do Mick and John need to be on it to be Fleetwood Mac? Aren’t some of Lindsey’s songs on Tusk and TITN just Lindsey? What about Landslide (which was recorded when they were still Buckingham Nicks), Songbird, The World Keep On Turning? Are Revelation and Keep On Going, which feature Bob Welch on bass, Fleetwood Mac?

Does this mean John’s solo album from the early 90s is actually a Fleetwood Mac album?

So your opinion, is that Find Your Way Home is the Fleetwood Mac sound?
Did Mick, John, and Green create the FM sound?

You just replied to me that a "functioning band" recorded a song. Did a "functioning" Fleetwood Mac record Find Your Way? Or do you want to withdraw the statement you made?

I didn’t say or imply that it sounded like Fleetwood Mac, I pointed it out as an example of how Fleetwood Mac is more “functioning” since the change. Stevie can work with Neil in a way she couldn’t with Lindsey anymore. And, since 2/3 of the current lineup is on it, I specifically put it in an almost Mac category. If Mick and John and Christine on keyboards were added, it would absolutely be Fleetwood Mac. Honestly, it reminds me like something from SYW.

Definitely one era of the band’s sound. And, “Stop Messin’ Round” was the really the first moment the world heard what would become the defining quality of the band’s sound, namely the Fleetwood McVie Perfect groove.

No.
