If four of us bought it(see, I'm making an assumption that it's going to go for a high price-truth be told- it probably won't), we could all have it 3 months at a time. April 1st, I have to ship it to you.
Although the other part of several people buying it was, so WE could enjoy it.
Even though I'd like to have it, I can't IMAGINE my friend's or family's reaction to seeing it on display! Well, I just couldn't. They just wouldn't understand my love for Christine. Not on display anyway!

Thanks, Homer. Sorry, I know you really would have liked to have it.

Earlier this week, I won an auction for a Koch Records Promo DVD for In The Meantime. It came here today...that's too much Christine McVie excitement for me today.

Yes, Chris Kable was/is a woman. She worked for Christine from around Mirage time until 1998 when Chris moved back home to England.

I will. The seller is still a huge fan of Christine. She just no longer has enough space in her closet for everything. She also ended another auction early for me. More Christine pictures are on the way, in addition to the jacket.

It's just under a half hour long. It's called an EPK(electronic press kit). Koch Records put it together. It includes the footage from those video clips on her website & there's about an additional 5-6 minutes of extra footage that isn't on her site, mostly shots of Chris walking on the grounds of her estate, riding her scooter & a little bit of extra footage of her and Dan recording in her barn/studio. I've watched it about 10-15 times already. It's so cool to finally see that stuff on DVD, instead of the tiny Windows Media Player. That's the first time I'd seen it on eBay in 2 years. And, it only cost me $5, including shipping. Nobody else bid on it.

WOW! Both the jacket and the EPK sound SO cool! I don't find cool Chris stuff on Ebay. I don't look daily, but enough. I DID just get the Japan GAHOM 45. I had coveted that for a long time. Are there other Chris Japanese 45's? I still seek one LB one as well. The Holiday Road 45, but am unsure if there were more Chris Japan 45's. Surely there had to be one for LWSUH right? I wanna see a pic when you get the jacket. It's puuurty!

Argh... I'm so jealous! I was going to scoop that up when I first saw the post, but hesitated when I couldn't find a pic right away. That's definitely the same jacket in the pic that was posted. And it really looks like something Chris would wear. I have the complete outfit she wore to the 1987 MTV Music Awards when they were nominated for LIttle Lies. I also have a concert video where you can see her wearing the top... it shows it for only about 5 seconds. Are you going to wear the jacket? I can't wear the outfit I have because the skirt is way too skinny and the material is totally covered with royal blue glitter. I don't know where I'd wear it... even the boots have a wide band of glitter from top to bottom It's not so much that Chris owned the stuff as it is that these are great pieces for probably a fraction of the cost, even if they're old... it's "vintage" and that's cool too - Wonder if the seller plans on putting any more pieces up on Ebay. Hope you're happy with it when you get it. Post a pic if you can and wouldn't mind... we'd love to see it on you!

Laura
