Doesn't sound bad at all. Why spend the premium money on someone who ie less interested. It's not like 8th row is a bad seat anyway. Just be sure to look back every now and then and make sure she (and the baby-to-be) aren't being accosted by a bunch of drunken slobs singing Come to her.

Seriously though, I bet there are acts that she likes that you don't enjoy as much where you would gladly want her to have the front row, while you sat elsewhere.

Oh Michele, I get the biggest kick out of your posts! Thanks
for brightening my day!!! Iam so sorry for the UK fans!!! Neal
has been Lindsey's main guy for a long time and is invaluable!
We forget how strenuous great rockin' guitar playing can be!

Haha great call There Madness, wish I had thought of that!!! Though now I feel I must rant a little...

God effing Damnit. This is why I hate ticketmaster. I friggin' knew that they were holding back on the front row tickets, but at the same time you can never tell for sure. I can remember yer man on the phone to me about the Dublin show a few months ago when I was expressing my disappointment at the news that the M+G for that venue was sold out. He then tried to persuade me to buy 10th row tickets or something like that, and said that that was the best he could do for me, and urged me to buy them because if I was disappointed to have missed out on the M+G then he'd hate to see me ending up with back row tickets later on, or no tickets at all. What a load of ****. (I managed to get Belfast tickets though, I look forward to playing Madness' lefty Model1)

Still no email from Ticketmaster about the Palladium show. Can't say I'm surprised - I dare say quite a few LB fans might be when they show up to the venue though!

quote
Dear Suze,

Thank You for your email.

I apologise for any inconvenience caused.

I have looked into this for you and i can confirm that this event has been postponed.

A new date is still to be confirmed. Customers will be contacted and are advised to retain their tickets until a new date is announced.

If your tickets were set for box office collection, this will still be the case for the new date when it is announced.

If you require any further assistance please do no hesitate to contact us.

I'm not crazy about TM right now because
first they never informed me that my tickets were on their way,
second they never sent me the UPS tracking number (even though i paid through my nose for a secure delivery)
third my tickets were lost (ok, UPS's fault but still) and
fourth no info on the postponed show.
I'm just hoping the promised duplicate tickets can be picked up at the Palladium on the 19th anyway. With the trip already booked and paid, we're going to London anyway and i would feel better when i have those tickets in my pocket.

My DARLING wife insisted on not having a VIP ticket and that a normal ticket would do as she would much rather spend that amount of money on our new baby.........and of course coats (for when I turn the heat off).

Hey Lindsey complimentary upgrade for the wife for making me look bad there.
Dude I guess it doesn't matter, your fellow Ledgies seem
to be on your side. I'm not sure how you pulled this off
with your wife though. With this premise I could cut dating
expenses in half. Hats off to you brother.

Just received an email from Ticketmaster notifying me of the postponement. Makes it 100% real for me now. Oh well. Wishing Neale a speedy recovery. Looking forward to the rescheduled date whenever that may be.

I've just received an email from Live Nation saying that the whole tour has been cancelled as dates can't be rescheduled for 2012. Full refund on its way

This was for the Birmingham date. So maybe there's still luck with the other dates!

I got that as well. Totally gutted I guess that means he's going to be busy with FM and I'd much rather have solo Lindsey than more nostalgia.

I hope Neale gets better though because if Fleetwood Mac do tour I'd like to see him alongside them again!

Completely gutted!

If his guitarist is injured, its understandable to postpone, but to cancel!?
Surely he could have either done the tour without Neale or bring in a replacement. Lindsey is after all - the guitarist!

I think its rubbish, and not being able to re-schedule is probably down to him planning yet another money-spinning Fleetwood Mac tour at over £100 a ticket playing the same old stuff for the 1000th time.

Not happy!

I can't believe he has just cancelled the whole tour. I was thinking perhaps it's just the venues that had no available time slots or something.

I feel awful for everyone who has already made and paid travel and hotel expenses. Luckily we'd only booked a hotel for the London date... Only thing is that's £80 down the drain as we can't get a refund.

My question is why couldn't he have had the Meet and Greet anyway?? I can understand if he didn't want to perform without Neale, but Lindsey would have likely been the only one to attend the M & G (right?). I can imagine how disappointed all of you are!!!
