Default Will Stevie tour this summer?

Stevie has been all over the place recently...anyone think she will do a mini solo tour this summer before she jets off into the Mac world?

If only she would...When Stevie tours I can spend $100 for up front seats with only a 2 hour drive at most FM is another story $750 if you go through Mick and a 5 hour drive...I'll take Stevie solo over FM any day...

I would guess not-- she needs to be working on new songs. She has been (in Don Henley's song words) "workin' it" lately and probably needs a break from touring to focus on writing/re-writing. There's also probably promo interviews that the whole band will be involved with during the interlude between now and the FM tour.

It really wouldn't surprise me if Stevie did some scattered dates here & there, perhaps with the likes of Dave Grohl. She has mentioned doing just that, after all. Stevie & Fleetwood Mac have given no indication that Stevie is working on new material, or will be joining the band in the studio in the foreseesable future. I get the feeling Stevie is kicking & screaming about having to dedicate another 2-3 consecutive years to Fleetwood Mac after just touring with them last year. We all know how she likes to vacillate between her two careers. I don't see Stevie dedicating any more time to Fleetwood Mac this year than she absolutely has to. Hence her making appearances on Jimmy Fallon last night, the RRHOF tonight, Academy of Country Music Awards a few nights ago, etc. I think in her mind, she's doing her solo thing right now.

I agree Louie, I could definitely see her do some scattered casino shows in July/August if she wanted to.

Yes I think she will come out and do a couple of shows like I mentioned before in other threads.

She will keep Waddy and the band employed in the meantime which is nice of her between FM duties.

There is not to many bands that a member has two jobs as a solo artist and a band member.

I have to give her alot of credit for doing it.

While she's in NYC I'm surprised she did get scheduled onto the David Letterman show.

I could see more " appearances" but this is all about Fleetwood Mac. Im sure she will plug the tour when she can and as we get closer to the release of the new album she will be talking about that. I still believe that this new album is the priority for all 5 for them for the next 5 months. Stevie is and will continue to do the PR.

No, I don't think Stevie will tour. They are starting rehearsals in July. Between now and July what kind of shows will she be able to do?
