I think having the hair upswept for a song or two is nice and adds a certain mood or drama, if used sparingly, but generally her hair seems best when itís down and flowing.

I always figured she found it a stylish way to get all that hair up off her neck onstage where it gets really hot and sweaty. I like the Gibson Girl better than when she pulled the back into a ratty low ponytail.
