I'm happy and sad at the same time. Honor her work is recognized but sad she never saw it happen by just a few months.
How Buck/Vie was never nominated and won for best pop duo is beyond me. This is way I hate award shows.

It's still weird knowing that she's gone.

Sheryl on piano, singing the first verse. Bonnie sitting on a stool, and sang the second verse. Mick had his talking drum, and was sort of doing a heartbeat sound with it, even for a couple seconds after the song was over. It was pretty moving.

I think tonight was the first time it really hit me. The day her death was announced I was driving home from burying one of my best friends who suffered from a horrible disease for the last few years. I literally heard about Chris’s death on XM just as I was about to pull into my driveway. I was already numb from
The past few days. I dunno, it certainly wasn’t like I didn’t get it. But it didn’t “hit” me. Until tonight. I’m not sure I ever realized how important she and her music was to me. I can trace my fandom of Fleetwood Mac to three different times in my young life and each time it was Chris and her songs that brought me in.

I didn’t like the first verse or the drumming at first. I thought it seemed to get better once Bonnie started singing. Mick thumping the heartbeat after the song finished tore me up.

It would have been nice if Christine was alive to receive her Grammy. Christine was such a great vocalist for more than a half of a century.

Bonnie is a much more emotionally evocative singer than is Sheryl (and I like Sheryl).
