Don't feel bad, I think it was Marty back in the day who called me typo queen. I was the worst typist ever born. It took a good 6-7 years of typing everyday to just barely get by without too many typos LOL.

Samantha Fox reveals who was to blame for "worst night of my life" hosting Brit Awards with Mick Fleetwood
Contrary to popular belief, the model explains for the first time why she wasn’t responsible for possibly the most excruciating two hours of live television seen to date on British screens Samantha Fox has recalled how she took part in one of TV’s greatest live disasters – presenting the Brit Awards in 1989 with 6ft 5in Fleetwood Mac drummer Mick Fleetwood. The 5ft star – dwarfed by her co-host – remembers it as “the worst night of my life”. But contrary to popular belief, she explains for the first time why she wasn’t responsible for possibly the most excruciating two hours of live television seen to date on British screens. Sam admits: “By the end of the night I just wanted to be swallowed up and disappear but none of it was my fault. “Mick Fleetwood was so stoned he didn’t know what was going on. “When I gave him a good-luck kiss before the show he stank of grass. “Then I saw this massive lump of hash the size of a block of Parmesan cheese fall out of his pocket. The lights were on but nobody was home.” If that wasn’t challenging enough, she said she also had Bros fans screaming at her from the side of the stage. Sam recalls: “They kept shouting, ‘Samantha Fox, you slag,’ so during one of the breaks I went over to one, grabbed her shirt and said, ‘Shut your mouth’. “Then the old lady with the autocue, who I think was deaf, couldn’t hear what we were saying and when it stopped working I kept trying to nudge Mick to improvise but he was away with the fairies. “If you think it was painful to watch, imagine how I felt on stage. “And it’s all right for Mick. He escaped back to America straight afterwards but I’ve never heard the end of it. “If I saw him now I’d say, ‘Why didn’t you stick up for me?’ Not that he can probably even remember being there.” http://www.mirror.co.uk/3am/celebrit...blame-11672021 |

I think its funny that Samantha Fox was surprised or upset people were slut shaming her. Really? Her 80's videos were like soft porn and that was the image she embraced.

^^^Why would anyone call her a slut for a video she made? And why should she accept that as fact? She was a young pretty woman who showed her breasts in fotos, no need to slut-shame her.

It was very funny TV....
Mick kept announcing...The Four tops, the four tops, when out walked Boy George. Boy George quipped ....I’m afraid I’m just the One Top. The whole thing was a shambles and very funny. |

When your hit songs are about having sex and your videos show groups of men groping you over and over and simulating sex....why would anyone be surprised someone dared call you a slut. If that is the image you present how can you be shocked if someone calls you out. Here in the states we all confused her with porno star Samantha Fox. Because once you saw the singer's videos, it was an easy mistake Parents would be angry at MTV with her videos and yell slut and whore to the TV. She really pushed the envelope. But hey that is what made her famous.

Quote:
Samantha Fox the singer was a soft porn star...well, a topless model at least. That's how she started out and made her name- she showed her pots in The Sun Newspaper every day.

I came of age back in the 1980's with the likes of Sam Fox, Maria Whittaker and Linda Lusardi. At least British people know who I am referring to.
