This is the reality, isnít it? How many casual fans do I know whoíve seen FM on this latest tour and raved about how good Stevie was. They were going for her. She is, as Christine says, a brand. When Lindsey was on stage with them, he often reminded those masses that there was something else to admireóand their awe surprised them. But it wasnít and isnít enough to make them care that heís gone. She is the draw. I donít like acknowledging this, but thereís no way around it. Masses care about FM because sheís fronting them.

Itís a shame, really: BuckVie was so lively and rich but so few cared.

I'm very thankful that we got Buck Vie, and that it was the LAST chapter in MY FM. FM died to me, the day they fired Lindsey.

My love, respect and admiration for Stevie, Christine, John and Mick has gone. I can't and won't let my disdain allow me to stop listening to the songs Lindsey either created or produced though. He is the biggest reason Fleetwood Mac got so big. Take him out of the equation and who knows where the band goes. The same goes for Bob Welch, Billy, Danny and the other members of the band. They made fantastic music and I won't let the mistreatment of Lindsey by the band prevent me from enjoying the others' music. It's not their fault that they're associated with these abominable turncoats.

Well we can change by pointing out Stevieís antics over the years. How she has sort of slept her way to the top... stuff the casual fans donít know about.

Iím not interested in trying to smear her nameóand any such effort would be pointless as it wouldnít change anything. She does deserve her fame. Iím not trying to take that from her. I just wish it didnít mean the band was allowing to hold itself hostage to that very fame.

LMAO. Stevie didn't sleep her way to the top. Sex drugs and rock and roll. Do you know how many rock stars lived that life? That still live that life?! It isn't "The Donny and Marie Osmond show." LoL.
Keep grasping straws though.

I never thought there'd come a day when I couldn't bare to listen to the music of Fleetwood Mac and/or Stevie Nicks but that day has come.

3 chapters into Ken Caillat's book and so far I haven't seen any behavior from Stevie that resembles what she's like now. The only thing that really stood out to me was the part where he said she believed she had magical powers and was chanting to the music. I had a friend in high school who was a witch and she said the main motto of witches is "Do whatever you want." I could see that kind of mentality leading to these types of decisions. But I feel like that's an incredibly large assumption to make as I'm sure most witches would never do what she has done. There must be something more and I intend to find out. *grabs magnifying glass*

Stevie isn't a witch.
Witches don't exist in the truest sense.
People who claim to be witches are only playing at being witches.

edit: That said, it could be fair to call her an old witch.

Do old witches have breath that smell like goat?

FYI, a member of Def Leppard said that all members of the "current" version of FM were all at the Rock Hall when Stevie was inducted. That is why, during her speech, she said "band that is still together." Wasn't a Lindsey Buckingham dig

So you're saying that she's a delusional LIAR, as always?

Got it. Thanks.

right. she also never pulled that "me or him" ultimatum. and she was not a college dropout but was working towards her "masters." and other revisionist history / alternative facts that were getting laid on slowly over decades but are now getting to be exponentially rampant with every Nicks statement.

you know what i don't get? the woman is obviously not doing well, having a bad flu and who knows what else as they needed to cancel all these dates. yet her fans on these boards make up complaint threads about other posters while nobody made a thread to wish her well. if you care about the woman, or if you are just a normal human, i would think you'd want her to live and be healthy. i hope she's actually getting better and wish all the health to Stevie.

Her fans take on her qualities. So it shouldn't surprise you. Selfishness is a learned behavior. (mostly)

I guess it's not surprising that Stevie said "MY band is still together." The current iteration of Fleetwood Mac is the one SHE created - the one sans Lindsey Buckingham that Mick Fleetwood, its leader in name only, has meekly allowed her to establish and dominate. It is indeed HER band, and it is "still together" after a whole year!
