I guess there were 7 or 8 on the floor, including bass guitars. I didn't look to see if they had the uke. I was marvelling at the beauty of the bass guitars, before I realized I was looking at a Turner, and then I turned around to see the guitars. They really are beauties! I don't often look at electric guitars, but my son dragged me into the room with the electrics to look at the effects pedals.

I still think that if that's a sitar on MMAM then he's doing something bizarre and unnatural with it.

But then with LB that's not necessarily surprising.

Considering he does the same thing with guitars, that SHOULDN'T surprise you. You didn't really think he was going to be playing a RAGA now did you?

Agreed.

But if you're going to make a sitar sound like a koto, wouldn't it be easier to just play a koto?

Sitars are probably easier to play than a koto.

Heck, I can make a BANJO sound like sitar in certain circumstances, but I'd rather PLAY a sitar than a banjo.

You know, I OBVIUOSLY made a mistake about the Sitar when I opened this thread, but I wanted to thank people for not throwing me to the wolves. I know very little about the techinical aspect of music, ((DUH))) but I guess if you never ask questions you'll never know right?
