I had an interesting experience with the t-shirt and the concert...you can read about it in my review, but I should warn you it's a spolier :

Question

Originally said by Sonia: I went with my 18-year old brother (a huge Lindsey fan) who wore a FIRE JONATHAN TODD t-shirt. Lots of people looked at him and smiled, and a few actually gave a thumbs up or were like "Yeah, right on!" That was awesome. But here's the weird part (Get ready for this!). As the band is leaving the stage after the first encore, my brother runs down the aisle toward the stage (we were on the side) to get a closer look at them as they exit and he is promptly stopped by one of their staffers. The man lets my brother get a little closer to get a glimpse, but says that's it unless he has a pass. The man looks at the t-shirt and smiles and says "You know, Jonathan Todd really isn't that bad a guy. I've been working with this band for years (he claimed to be some sort of "manager") and I know, he's really not bad. He really cares about the music," something to that effect. My brother looks at the guy and says, "Well, a lot of people think he really did some wrong things to a lot of the fans." And the guy says, "It's not his fault" though he didn't say exactly what "it" was. My brother tells him politely, "We'll see," and that was that.
Interesting, EH?
Now this guy might not be anyone, and may have just been pulling my brother's leg about who he was, etc.
But if he IS who he SAYS he is (some type of "manager" for the band) than this would be a pretty good indication they have a clue as to the fact that many people are pissed at JT! My brother did manage to get close enough to the stage that any of the band members would have seen the shirt if they looked in his direction.

Did that guy honestly think after he said he "he's not a bad guy & it's not his fault" speech you guys were gonna just go "Oh, JT is a nice guy? Oh well, in that case..." He's probably hoping it'll die down if he gets to "all the gullible fans" but hopefully he'll continue to see many of those shirts throughout the tour so he'll know "it" isn't "just gonna go away", without a fight anyways.

I doubt this guy thought he'd change anyone's mind. His tone was very polite and pleasant, not accusatory or defensive. He didn't seem like he was trying to convince anyone of anything. And he didn't seem shocked at seeing the t-shirt, either. But those are just our observations, and like I said, this guy could be a totally inconsequential nobody and have been playing a prank for all we know. I tend to be a bit skeptical, so I don't want to assume anything this man said is or isn't true.
