Good to see so many Community fans on here! That show is something special. Still haven't seen most of the new season, though. And we still haven't heard if it's coming back next year, which is worrying.

People on here have great taste! I'll try and keep my list on the leaner side as I could be here all day.

Finished series:

The Golden Girls
Frasier
Roseanne
Gavin and Stacey
Firefly
Six Feet Under
Pushing Daisies
Corner Gas

^ I feel like there's more. But those are ones that I really keep coming back to.

Ongoing series:

Parks and Recreation
Community
Him and Her
Hebburn
Dexter
Doctor Who
Sherlock
Archer
Arrested Devlopment (new season is coming out this month!!!!)

I've never heard of Community, I'll have to look for it.

The shows I try my best to catch right now are:
Orphan Black
Mr. Selfridge
Mad Men

I can take or leave Dr. Who this season.

Oh, Community is great, Becca! Check it out for sure. But it's not for everyone. Every episode always gives me the feeling that it was all written just for me... Which is probably why its ratings have always been terrible. People seem to either really love it, or not get into it at all.

I haven't yet watched any of this season (well, "season 7 part 2") of Who. But it does seem to be getting a mixed reception. Hmmm. I'm pretty confident I'll enjoy at least some of it, though. It's always kind of been a patchy affair, for me, but I enjoy taking the good with the bad.

I just found out that Jean Stapleton from "All in the Family" passed away a couple days ago .

All in the Family was a another great TV show from the 1970's that I like watching.

I hadn't heard that. That is sad.

I'm more of a fan of Norman Lear's spin-offs from AITF, Maude and Good Times. But he is such a tremendous writer and Jean Stapleton just owned the role of Edith. She was a legend and will be missed, but certainly had quite a life.

Yes I agree. No substitute for Edith Bunker.

The spinoffs were great quality TV.I think todays show are boring except a few.

Peter Marshall's shows were great too.

I have a new favorite show - Christopher Guest's 'Family' on HBO.

http://www.npr.org/blogs/monkeysee/2...-thats-serious

That said, I'll probably only watch 4 or 5 episodes before I lose interest. TV just doesn't hold my attention for very long.

3) Golden Girls

Also:

Teen Wolf
Ru Paul's Drag Race
Seinfeld
The Simpsons

I wish I could get HBO, but they say you can't have everything.

I saw a couple Toy Hunters, but it mostly makes me feel bad about how I don't have many of my old toys anymore, and certainly not mint in their original boxes!

I remember seeing Carroll O'Connor on an old Wild Wild West episode and he was a very smart villain type, and nothing like Archie Bunker. My respect for his acting went through the roof where it already was for Jean Stapleton.

Lately I've been watching some old British shows on DVD...

I just got The Owl Service and Ace Of Wands, a couple of '70s fantasy type shows aimed at teenage and up. Very high quality. I'm going to savor them an episode at a time. Now if they'd only release the original Phoenix & the Carpet series (not the movie version).

'Dave Allen At Large' is another one. I loved how this Irish comedian always closed with 'good night, and may your God go with you'. He was also very good looking I thought as well as funny.

Oh, and have been playing a few Peter Cook comedy vinyl records of old tv performances. His Mr. Wisty stuff is a real tonic for me! Probably due to a secret desire to dominate the world in the name of spindly and spotty invisible people who study tadpoles in gossamer trench coats. That will make no sense to the uninitiated.

I love watching As Time Goes By and Keeping up Appearances on PBS Saturday nights.I probably seen them all by now and also I got the entire series of both shows on my external backup drive.

Quality TV.Not this junk they dish out on todays TV.

I still say Stevie made that sitcom funny. But the rest of the series sucked.

She said she cant act.

YES YOU CAN Stevie.

I wish Christina had better writers. The series was not that funny to me.
