Default Figuiring out Fritz material

Given the fact that "new" Fritz material has emerged, I'm trying to assess all that is out there thus far. I also want to get straight about what isn't Fritz material. Any corrections, additions and insights are welcome!

Here's what I have compiled:

STUDIO
Louisana Joy
In the Dawn
Next Time Around
Wondering Why
Reconsider (intrumental snippit)

LIVE
Born to be Wild
Empty Shell
Flames of Frustration
Georgia
The Power
Yellow
Poor Me XXX

DEMOS (Fritz? Stevie? Buckingham Nicks?)
Rose Garden
Amber
Anybody Out There
I Need You
See the World Go By
When Will We Love Again

"Poor Me" is NOT a Fritz song at all. I know it got mistakenly posted in a Fritz zip file awhile back and that's why it was mislabeled a Fritz song but it definately is not.

The lady singing it is Liza Jane Edwards and it was written by her and Stevie in December of 1990 on the last night of the "Behind the Mask" tour. They were both sad about the tour ending and as they walked to the car, Stevie started singing "Poor me, pour me another beer", and thats what the song is about.

She did say that Stevie wrote most of the words and they worked on the music together. It sort of became a beer joint kind of a song and Liza Jane performed it quite a bit locally around in Texas in the early 1990s.

So we can cross that one off the list :-)) Hope that helps.

I don't remember Liza Jane on the BTM Tour? Def. on the Street Angel Tour though. Oh and if you happened to have been at any of the BTM shows you would know Stevie was prolly thrilled when the tour was over. She looked miserable onstage most nights on that tour until the encores when she threw all her energy into them.

These demos were never confirmed by anyone from Fritz -- Stevie included -- to be Fritz songs. They were circulated by a bootlegger in Yonkers, New York, about nine years ago, & this person was known to mislabel & misidentify her wares from time to time (for example, marketing the Oklahama City May 1977 soundboard as "Oakland" & labeling a few recordings of "Rhiannon" from a 1979 rehearsal as being from a 1977 rehearsal).

Some ledgies asked Javier in his Q&A about several of these songs, & he didn't recognize any of them. Furthermore, he said that virtually all original material in Fritz's set was stuff he wrote, not Stevie Nicks. We need to review his Q&A.

It's fairly obvious these aren't Fritz demos. But were they of the Fritz era? Were they demos done during the Buckingham Nicks era? With Lindsey or someone else? Or just Stevie?

Interesting about "Poor Me" ... I never knew that, although I did know it wasn't 'fritz' just from listening (it is on a boot I had bought years ago called 'Fritz demos' which has most of the above ...

Also, i always figured those other songs weren't Fritz as well, as they were too 'Stevie-esque' (meaning Amber, Rose Garden etc...) just comparing them to the songs we know are actually Fritz...

As to the BTM tour...totally agree with Viv's statement...that was the most disjointed I've ever seen Stevie (and yes, I saw the RAL tour)...although when they did 'Stand Back' she RAWKED like the Stevie of old (and future...)
