Are you familiar with all her solo work?
Some of it - and her solo singles feature on my double Best of Mamas & Papas cd. I used to like her TV show too.

I have only recently realized that my all time favourite bands happen to be mixed sex - first and foremost Fleetwood Mac of course, but also Mamas & Papas, Abba, Scissor Sisters. Also Meat Loaf when he has Patti Russo with him as I love her almost as much as Stevie and Cass.

I also love Cass 'cos of her California sound, love The Beach Boys too.

Cass would have fitted in well with FM!

The album Avalon by Roxy Music.

I can't for the life of me understand the appeal of this little snooze fest. It's Not the Roxy I know. Give me Stranded, For your Pleasure or Country Life any day

I've been on a huge Dio kick lately. He pretty much is the definition of awesome.

I've never tired of this from when I first saw it. One of my favourite songs ever sung by an incredible contestant, the likes of which we'd never get here in the UK! Crystal is incredible - her album is really great. Check that unexpected note at 1:26, that's some jump up the octaves there!

Ok, and one more (starts at 1:38)...

Thumbs up Now playing...

"Save Me", by Queen from the 2011 remastered version of the album "Greatest Hits" - The sound is awesome on this disc, a major upgrade from the previous version(s) of the compact disc...And no "Loudness War" issue to my ears

From the legendary "Paramount on Parade" (1930), Clara Bow, in one of the very first ever music videos. What a treat this is.

The Technicolor sequence of Maurice Chevalier performing "Sweepin' the Clouds Away" (which closed "Parade") is completely glorious (and I'm not overselling that).
