Default Running Through the Garden- Street Angel Outtake?

Does anyone know what the deal with this is? I stumbled on this old bootleg for Street Angel: Abbey Road Mixes and it lists Running Through the Garden as an outtake.

I love the song, has there been a 1990s version of it in circulation this whole time? I can't imagine why they'd include the RAL demo on this CD with the rest of the Street Angel outtakes.

I remember I obtained this bootleg compilation many years ago. I don’t have it anymore, but yes, IIRC the version of Running Through The Garden that’s on it IS the RAL version. Or at least one of them.
But apparently there has been much talk in the past of this song being done during the Street Angel sessions in the 90s because the song was sent for copyright and the date for that is 1992, I believe. So there’s a good chance there is a Street Angel version, but it has yet to be leaked and circulated among fans. Hope this helps. 👍🏻

Aw bummer, thanks for the response though! I wonder why they would throw in a demo from the mid-80s among those others.

I'd be curious to hear that SA version if it does exist! I'd love to hear a take on it with the Street Angel-style music (e.g. heavier on the rock, less heavy on the synth).
