can anyone guess what kind of sneakers are in the photo on the Tusk cover?

I believe they are Jox Sneakers. They were really popular in the 70's, I used to wear them. In the same time warp as Jordache jeans. "In" at the time, but then became kinda cheesy.

Addidas' were around as far back as the '60s.

According to their web site, 1920 (!). The original designer's name was Adi Dassler - guess it's obvious where 'Adidas' came from.

They are the only tennis shoes I wear. I'm trying to find some white and silver Millenium Sambas for a decent price. I've worn my others out.

Adidas is the brand with three stipes and from looking at the pic....they are not Adidas.
