Default Politicians and Fleetwood Mac

Just saw on Facebook that Prime Minister Stephen Harper of Canada is a fan of Fleetwood Mac. Here is a quote from the Prime Minister's website.

"He can rock …
Public praise is music to the ears of many politicians but for Prime Minister Harper, classic rock’s more his taste – with a particular bent for the Beatles and Blue Rodeo. His love of music wasn’t lost on Poland’s Prime Minister Donald Tusk who, during a meeting in Gdansk earlier this year, presented the PM with an original vinyl version of Fleetwood Mac’s Tusk."

Very cool!!!

Thanks to pres Clinton,He recharged the Mac's batteries by using "Dont Stop" at his 1992 Democratic National Convention, plus President Clinton persuaded the then-disbanded group to reform to perform it for his Inaugural ball in 1993 which it was awesome to see them together again.

Would that be Jack, er, I mean 'Lord' McConnell?

Tony Blair was a fan. He even called his Oxford undergrad band 'Ugly Rumours' in part-tribute, apparently.
