I thought the songs were oddly paired for this poll....which made it hard to choose. I went with Tango In The Night, though I'm not really sure why. It's a little dark and creepy, and I guess that part of it appeals to me more than the other songs.

I'm just surprised at how well "Tango in the Night" has done. It won Favorite Lindsey song from Tango in the Night with 23 votes. It made the top 3 for Lindsey's nominations and now its here with 9 votes. I like the song, as much as I can like one of Lindsey's songs!

The poll closes in 2 hours. I voted for "Go Your Own Way".

Seeing as it's a foregone conclusion, I just spent my vote wisely on Tango In The Night

I'm gonna double check this, but I think 42 votes for one song is the most a song has gotten during this battle. This song might just win the whole thing!

I'm starting to suspect that too. It's evident that it's a well loved song. I wouldn't be shocked at all if it did win

Just a few stats here, more on the sticky thread, but...

Go Your Own Way appears to have thus far, here, received the most votes. "Gypsy" for the Favorite Mirage song battle won with 36. Get this, "The Chain" won Favorite Rumours song with just 21 votes, followed by "Go Your Own Way" with 12 votes.

I agree that Tusk represents quintessential LB. Plus it is a pretty unique song.

However i think GYOW is the best LB/FM song, period - so that's where my vote goes. It is also typical Lindsey as far as being inspired by and expressing anger/hurt/agression.

While i like IKINW, i don't think it's that special or different from everything else out there. What Makes You Think I'm The One, now that is again quintessential LB of the past - anger/agression (lots of it!) plus a hefty dose of self-centeredness!

The drums of the song Tusk reminds me of some African drumming and people dancing around a fire passing some weed, I dunno. I love the song itself tho.

I think the whole tribal err is something that Lindsey was going for with his work . I think. Obviously I'm not him so I can't say for sure lol.

That could be!! I think I read somewhere that Mick was inspired by African drumming somewhere...I wouldn't be able to find it now just take my word for it! So their tribal inspirations together is probably what produced Tusk!

Funk, african drumming, and slightly psychedelic pop-rock in perfect harmony!

yeah, Mick should probably get some of the credit for Tusk - plus the idea about adding the marching band came from him.
