Fleetwood Mac release first album in nearly 20 years

Fleetwood Mac are to release their first album of new songs since 1986.

Say You Will features the band's classic Rumours album line-up of Mick Fleetwood, John McVie, Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks.

It will be released in the US on April 15, ahead of the band's world tour.

Keyboard player Christine McVie declined the chance to record with the band to concentrate on her own solo career.

McVie will also be missing when Fleetwood Mac begin the world tour on May 7 in Columbus, Ohio.

The album was recorded over 18 months in Los Angeles with Buckingham as producer.

Wow, no John for the beginning of the tour? Who do you think will fill in?

Well, 20 years ago was 1983...so they're omitting Tango In The Night and BARELY including Mirage in there, too.

Angry Great googly moogly!!

Can reporters/journalists/idiots NOT get ANY frickin info right before publishing their stupid papers/magazines/idiot pages? Geez. They spell Lindsey with an A...they ignore albums that were made by FM, they discuss irrelevant issues (Stevie's weight and the soap opera that IS Fleetwood Mac ), they give their OPINIONS instead of just giving us the NEWS.

The media..BAH!!

I don't even know where this story ran [everyone should remember to include the source when you paste a published work on here], but I would hazard to guess that this was written by some low-salaried young writer who was handed a press release. The misspelling of Lindsey's name is inexcusable, but the other misinformation is most likely attributable to the label's very obvious (to us) efforts to obfuscate some of Fleetwood Mac's history.

Is this going to be the first FM album whose are production is solely credited to Lindsey Buckingham?

I think it is, isn't it?? Unless TITN was fully produced by LB aswell...I can't seem to remember!

It was him and Dashut. So yeah, solo Lindsey!
