Well it’s time to be honest about her. She is not that talented. Her gift is networking and getting the really talented people to deliver the goods. She is a hard worker, a unique individual and very smart about her career but that’s it.

Lindsey was the truly talented person in Fleetwood Mac and all he ever got was **** on by a bunch of druggies. He’s also a lot more giving than she will ever be.

And we get it.. you worshipers will never take off the rose colored lenses and admit that she's a ridiculous, embarrassing hypocrite of an "artist" these days.

I am not a "worshiper
" I don't care. I just find it a waste of time to complain over and over.

LoL. True. I think people get a little too much into stars. Apparently Fleetwood Mac means a LOT to some people, or what songs are on a Stevie Nicks compilation. I love the music, but have my own life to live. To each their own.

I hope we get to get a new record, but I am just happy to see her say again that she is writing. This is what I have said here for ages...we have no clue what she is doing when she is not on stage. A writer doesn’t usually stop writing...slow way down in output/production, yes. But in my work with novelists and short story writers over the last 20+ years, I have experienced seen that the m need to create does not usually go away.

What year are you guys living in? This is 2019. Most people stream music these days, there is no need to buy these expanded album reissues or compilations.

I do too, but I still want a hard copy format for anything I'm "collecting." Most stuff by FM/Stevie/Lindsey, Heart, Tom Petty, Lita Ford (I know, lol, leave me alone!), Prince, Tori, Live, Pearl Jam, and a few others, falls into this category. A lot of my CDs and old vinyls are in storage right now, but I know what's there, and that if all the electronic versions suddenly disappeared, I'd still have what I have.

Haha. I wouldn’t make fun of you because I’ve done this for Duran Duran and anything Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac related. New releases only, not the reissues and stuff. Back in the day I was always buying CD’s but I’ve been a Spotify member for about 6 years now and I rarely buy. The veterans don’t exactly release new albums too frequently. lol

I don't. And yes, it's a freakin' shame what has become of former Nicks fans. Really.

The interview was funny and entertaining. The mass public love “shawl vaults” and Prince stories. They love the sisterhood stories of Christine and Stevie making their pact. They love her charmingly scatterbrained reason for plagiarism of a Tom Petty song. They love that Harry Styles has become hers and Mick’s love child.

It’s all so delusional and absurd but it IS entertaining. I enjoyed it, even the part about “Christine McVie, my sarcastic best friend.” She’s delivering a lot of comic value to masses and masses of people. She has monetized loopiness. That’s all great—seriously.

But let’s not pretend her voice hasn’t changed or that she’s actually writing songs anymore. Her RRHOF induction is deserved and well-timed and all of her energy seems to serving that honor. However, she isn’t terribly musical or creative anymore. LINDSEY BUCKINGHAM-CHRISTINE MCVIE may not have been an iconic smash that sparked a slew of drag queens, karaoke imitators, or Sheryl Crowe psychophantry, but it was and is VERY creative and of high musical quality.
