think they made it pretty clear they are musical soulmates, who instinctively feel each other's music and what to do with it, how to augment it. they play off each other, on stage and in the studio. always have. they both said it, and also that they are not best friends or anything like that. Lindsey called her a family (as he considers the whole band, and he makes it clear still). she said they don't hang out together like best friends but enjoy working together and have an easy pleasant fun work relationship. Christine also said that everyone in Mac gets along well except when you put Stevie and Lindsey in the same room because those 2 still have their weird unresolved issues.
