Default Any New Year's Resolutions?

Do people still make these? I do. Mine are usually goals, rather than changing something about myself. I usually meet these goals, too, within then year. They give me something to strive for. Here are mine:

-To totally give up fast food.

-To pass my NCLEX on the first try

-To save money more instead of spending it on stuff I don't really need (ie alcohol )

-To meet more Ledgies.

What are yours?

You are so optimistic.

I like yours the best. I'm sure I will at least manage the weight gain aspect of it.

Seriously though, the whole New Year's Resolution thing seems predestined to fail for me. I quit doing it a few years ago because it never worked. Of course, I set impossible goals for myself. Back in grade school, I promised myself I'd go a whole year without getting into trouble and winding up in the principal's or guidance counselor's office. That worked for about a month.

But as a revision, Lux, do you think maybe you could dominate the U.S. instead, for obvious reasons?

Two questions:
Why Barbra Streisand?
Wouldn't Europe domination be quite boring after a couple of months?

I think I might've gone with Ann Coulter or Paris Hilton myself.

About 10 years ago, I made a New Year's Resolution to NEVER EVER make New Year's Resolutions again. EVER.

So, I'm still keeping that one.

See how that works???

Of course, I'd love to ditch a few pounds (mainly those that are packed on top of my ass.) I'd be happy to lose 10.

I'm trying to be more grateful, less selfish and not so much of a bitch. Of course, that resolution hasn't worked for the last 29 years, but here's to lucky number 30!

WooHoo Amsterdam. I’ll be there next summer. My resolution? Not changing a damn thing.

* Lose 10 pounds.
* Reduce my debt by $*,***.
* Meet more Ledgies (borrowed from Curtis )

These are reasonable yet very difficult goals for me but I really want to reach them!

Exclamation Easy...

Get to know my late Father's side of the family, Since I carry the "j." surname.

More metal and less rock in 2005, \m/-<*-*>-\m/

To be healthy (Which the past 2 weeks is non-existant)

To start whacking the noses of nosey muthaf**king people off who stick it where it shouldnt/doesnt belong with a 18" machete

And finally to get a few tattoo's...Preferably my favorite number 666 somewhere that will be easily visible & offensive

I've all but given up on the ring. My body likes that extra 20 lbs. I want it to be 160, but it wants to be 180 . I can win, as long as I f*cking starve continuously. And I mean continuously.
I've decided that life's too short to be HUNGRY!
